Free stuffed herself with all the food she could.
"I'm in 3rd year too!" Flame exclaimed. "So, have you done any of you homework?" She asked.

Sarai impatiently said the password to the fat lady portrait, her arms tired of holding the books and scrolls that she needed for homework. She walked into the common room, heading towards one of the chairs so confidently you wouldn't know she was blind at first. But one of the students had moved a table from its normal place, and since she didn't know, she smacked her shins into it hard and dropped her books and scrolls as she yelped, falling over the table since she had been off-balanced by it.
Books and scrolls scattered, Sarai sat up, grumbling about her soon to be bruised shins, then began to crawl on her hands and knees, feeling across the carpet for her things. It was a good thing she didn't know whoever moved the chairs, most likely some first year, because she was in her normal mood of sarcasm and attitude and would have given the person a right thrashing with her to the.

Sarai feel,t sighed as she doubt someone had saved her. "Nah,bill be alright, thanks though."
"My name is Sarai, I'm a fifth year actually, but I'm not usually around the common rooms. I stay with Hagrid. But I had a crazy amount of homework and he's nursing some sick beasts with acid spit so.....yeah." she replied, running a hand through her hair awkwardly as she set her things on the table she stripped on and stood up.
Sarai shrugged as she felt for a nearby chair to sit on. "I wouldn't mind the homework so much if I didn't have to send an owl out for a custom braille copy of every book I need for each homework assignment. Its tiring on the owls no doubt, I think I use the school owls more than anyone at Hogwarts. I got a cat as a present instead of an owl. Hagrid thought it would be a good idea cause a cat can guide me if I get turned around in this big place and I daresay she has been a good help on occasion, she finds secret passages and things, so following her around is more for sport than need nowadays."
Sarai smirked and leaned back in her chair as she said, "what, tripping over a table in plain sight doesn't mean I'm blind? I daresay its good to hear that people trip over things just as I do." When Ariadne mentioned fixing it with magic, she couldn't stop from frowning, her whole expression darkening as she said, "magic is what stole my sight and my parents. Everyone, even Dumbledore, have tried to fix it, but whatever curse was used to rob my sight was not a common one and there seems to be no cure. I've been blind since my first year at Hogwarts, I've never seen what the castle looks like with my eyes, though I know it well enough by touch now. Hagrid adopted me when no relatives, smuggle or wizard, could be found. He's been a wonderful help, and a great father figure, despite his fault to liking the creatures that can oftentimes prove the most ah....disruptive." she smiled and said, "he really tries his best to raise me right.....why, he even bought me a dress and doled me up for the valentines dance a while back, and I've grown to be almost as big a fan of mystical creatures as he, and look forward to taking his class."
((haha its fine ^_^))
Sarai smiled and said "There is no doubt about that. He's the best. Honestly, I don't remember my parents very well. I'm glad Hagrid adopted me, he's a better father than I ever could hope for." she reached forward to grab a textbook, her hand skimming the tabletop until she found the stack. She ran her hands over the books til she found what she needed and grabbed it, then rolled out parchment and set the quill on it. "I got a specially enchanted quill from Dumbledore for my twelth birthday. It prevents cheating, but it'll write what I tell it to for me, since I can't see to write it myself. This quill has been a real lifesaver with homework." She told Ariadne with a smile.

Sarai smiled and said, "Yeah, no one has ever counterspelled this quill." she rested her head in her hand for a long moment, the other skimming the braille words on the page as she read absently. "I barely remember my parents......they weren't around that often when they were alive, so there's not a lot to miss...." she admitted.
Sarai smiled and said, "you're allowed to borrow mine whenever I'm not using it for homework, if you'd like."
Adira giggled and said, "I wouldn't have offered if it would have put me out. You're welcome to use it when I'm not using it for homework, that's the only time I really need it is for homework."
Sarai cocked her head. "Yeah? You actually like me enough to hang out with me? I feel like I should warn you, I'm not always super nice....I've been told I have an attitude, am rude and don't care about anything." She said, feeling it was her duty to warn her new potential friend. "I don't really have any friends at all...."

"Where's the new kid?" They asked. No one said anything, and they left. I stepped out, and smirked "Thanks for not telling, you lot. The name's Storm, i'm new here"
((It's third person, like"Sara smiled, NOT I smiled."))
