Difference between ARC and finished copy?

Has anyone read both the ARC and the finished copy of this one? I read the ARC and didn't care for it, but the book keeps getting 5 star ratings. I keep wondering if something big was changed. Can anyone save me from a reread?

I'm not sure, but I think most of these reviews are from people who've read the ARC and decided to post the review on the release day. I'm one of those.
