To answer your previous question, I have managed to get all three each month so far (I'm in the 4th month). I've found the classics take me much longer to read, though. I also listen to audiobooks during my commute to work, and that helps me engage better with the non-fiction (Bill Bryson's A Walk in the Woods was hilarious in audio).

My father has the Franklin Press and Reader's Digest leather-bound classics, which has given me a rich supply of those books. Having the habit of buying too many books helps, too.

GREAT idea about the bookmark. I think maybe I'll do that for 2009.

Lisa Julianna (lisajulianna) | 1053 comments Welcome Back Ken....was wondering where you went.

JG (Introverted Reader) Oh, man, Laura, the tv knocks me out cold, but I'm a good sleeper! We watched Iron Man last night (really good, by the way) and my husband informed me that we were going to eat dinner while watching the movie because that was the only way he could keep me awake for the whole thing. And he was right!

Glad you back Ken! I too haven't been online as much and found that I have much more time to read. Especially when waiting to p/u kids from play & choir practice which never end on time.
