Twilight (The Twilight Saga, #1) Twilight question

Is there another book series out there that's as addictive as Twilight & Hunger Games?

After reading the Twilight & Hunger Games series I had a bit of withdraw. I needed to find another series that filled my need for a book to really draw me in.

Enter the Shiver series by Maggie Stiefvater and the Maze Runner series by James Dashner. Both were awesome! Now that I've finished both series, I'm looking for something else to draw me in...any suggestions?

Hey why don't you read Significance Series by Shelly Crane its an amazing series. It has to do with imprints and finding your soulmate and your one true love.

The "Gone" series by Michael Grant. Also "The Summer I Turned Pretty" series by Jenny Han are couple of my favorites.

I would recommend the following but they are all on their first and seconds of the series...BUT THEY ARE SO GOOOD!

I'll recommend in the following order (these are all dystopian series by the way):

1. Divergent Trilogy (only one book out, next in May 2012) **FAVORITE OF THIS YEAR**
2. Delirium (second book out in march 2012)
3. Across the Universe (second book out in early January)
4. Matched and Crossed (final book November 2012)
5. Unwind
6. Enclave

And...also a series, first book just released
7. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer... (not dystopian) I compare this book to Twilight, not in subject matter, of course, but in complete addiction.

Why? don't you try " The immortal Serie" by Alyson Noel. You would love it :)

Sookie stackhouse got me too, but the TV series by HBO are better!
House of Night
Books by Ceceilia Dart-Thornton are really good reads(totally couldn't put them down)
Myst trilogy
Faerie walker trilogy (Glimmerglass, Shadow Spell and Sirensong)
Robbin Hobb is an amazing writer all of her books are soo adictive.

VAMPIRE ACADEMY, HUSH HUSH and THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS best books ever, right after the hunger games :D

Hush Hush Saga by Becca Fitzpatrick and Mortal Instrument by Cassandra Clare .
Both of 'em as addictive as Twilight Saga i think. I spend most of my leisure time reading 'em lately.

mortal instruments and harry potter

I agree, Sweep series by Cate Tiernan is REALLY addicting. I also really like the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld, and then a trilogy by Kenneth Oppel with the books Airborn, Skybreaker, and Starclimber. They're about giant airships and mysterious undiscovered creatures and it's really addicting and fun to read (:

The iron fey series, graceling, septimus heap series, the Kane chronicles, the heroes of Olympus series, the inheritance cycle, the ranger's apprentice, and the series by aprillyn like starting with Wings, spells then illusion.

Amanda Hocking's Trylle Trilogy, there are in the process of putting them into film as well. She started as an indie pub, and these are the books that made her big. I also found the Blood Coven series by Mari Mancusi to be fun. And the Hex Hall series.

I really like Juliet Marillier. Its different from those but I had to buy all her books. I started with the Sevenwaters trilogy.

Dune

Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost is more adult

the FEVER series, by moning or TARIEN SOUL, cl wilson's series...freaking fantastic!!lol!

The Jack trilogy, by F. Paul Wilson. Featuring an amazing 14-year-old named Jack as he's growing up in suburban New Jersey in the early '80's, some wild, crazy, and sometimes downright terrifying adventures. It starts when he and a couple friends find a body in the woods, in Jack: Secret Histories.

You're welcome.

fallen series by Lauren Kate. I couldn't put them down

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
The House of Night by PC Cast & Kristin Cast

Me, personally, the Stieg Larson series. I couldn't put them down and I'm looking forward to this movie then I did for the Twilights.

Victoria I agree the Swedish versions are far better!

For something completely different yet fun The Parasol Protectorate series. First book is soulless.

Harry Potter! And the Chronicles of Narnia.

Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress Series! It's definately not YA but Bones is AWESOME!!! Kerrelyn Sparks Love AT Stake is adult too but very good.

the summoning

Song of the Lioness or Protector of the Small series by Tamora Pierce.

Funny thing about this question to me is that people keep putting these series in the same category. I really disliked Twilight, but enjoyed Hunger Games. I agree with others that Harry Potter is worlds better than either one.

I really enjoyed Kelley Armstrong's YA trilogy. The Summoning, The Awakening, The Reckoning. Also, her adult series "Women of the Other World" is very good.

I think that the immortal series or thirst was pretty addictive

Vampire Academy is a must if you want YA.
Fever series by Karen Marie Moning is slightly older.
and Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward is very good, but definitely adult.

The Southern Vampire novels were good, but the only one that pulled me in as much as the Hunger Games is George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones series...

Definitly, the Hush Hush series is a love story that is so intense I believe it is better than Twilight. Don't hate on me for that opinion but for me it is the truth. I hate when I walk into a library and I never know if the book I pick will be life-changing or suck butt. You never know, that's the fun. Haha

I forgot to add "Shiver", "Linger", and "Forever"(All part of the Wolves of Mercy Falls series), by Maggie Stiefvater. They're awesome! Also, if you liked the Percy Jackson Series, you'll like "The Kane Chronicles".

The "Wings" Series, by Aprilynne Pike, is one of my all-time faves. Also, Incarceron and Sapphique, by Catherine Fisher, are very good, even though there are only 2 in the series. :)

Harry Potter, Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz, Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS by Cassandra Clare ( I swear the moment you meet Jace Wayland, you will never want to meet any other arrogant book character!!)
