I'm rereading Four Past Midnight by Stephen King by Stephen King I read it forever ago and It has totally stuck with me and the reread is reminding me why I loved it so...

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) Because of You (Coming Home #1) by Jessica Scott - If you want to know a little what life is like for military families during wartime...this was pretty accurate at least from a military wife perspective. Very emotional. You'll need tissue and if you're a military spouse be prepared for the brick that sits on your chest through the whole thing. Loved it and hated it at the same time.

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James & Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, #2) by E.L. James - Amazing story. Probably my new favorite trilogy.

Hannah | 468 comments I finished Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens and Effortless (Thoughtless, #2) by S.C. Stephens . I really liked both books. Keira was horribe in book 1. Not sure how she had time to go to school or have a job, what with sleeping with two guys and leading them on like she did. :/ But she sorta made up for it(sorta) in Effortless. She didn't cheat and she didn't really come close to it either, so YAY! (Big points for that since she's a cheater and was basically in the same position in book 2 that she was in book 1) But she also was supportive and did a few sweet things for Kellan.

But Kellan made the books. If not for him, I'd hate Keira with all kinds of intensity. LOL

I don't think I've read a book in years that caused me to cry in fits of rage, sadness and happiness. I felt all kinds of emotions reading these books, so props to S.C. Stephens... lol

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) As much as I loved Thoughtless, I seriously and adamantly loathe Keira to the point that I can't make myself read Effortless. Which really sucks because I really really love Kellen. However, now that I know that she's not a complete *insert really bad word* in it I may have to force myself to read it soon. hehe

Hannah | 468 comments You do have to read it, Jenn! You'll still hate Keira but not as much. She doesn't do nearly as much to be hated as she did in Thoughtless but the intensity of the hate from book 1 will be hard to overcome. LOL

There is a similar scenario put in place where Kellan has to leave and Keira is on her own, then Denny shows up. She keeps that to herself, which really pissed me off. She doesn't cheat or really come close to it but there are some inappropriate moments between her and Denny. Kellan walks in on one and assumes she cheated on him. He's keeping a secret from Keira, as well. It's about his father and other family. He isn't sure he wants to meet them but he's in contact with his sister. Keira thinks he's cheating on her too, so they have all kinds of jacked up communication, but in the end, Keira was pretty darn supportive and she did an incredibly sweet thing for Kellan that made me cry but I cry over everything, so it may not touch you. LOL It's a definite 4 star book but mostly because of Kellan. LOL

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) I'm still trying to make myself read it! lol I have to hand it to the author. I've never met another character in ANY book that evokes such strong emotions.

On a side note: Has anyone read

Accidentally Married to...A Vampire? (Accidentally Yours, #2) by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff ?? Very cute. Love this quote...

“If you love her, set her free. If she comes back, she’s yours. If she doesn’t…Christ! Stubborn woman! Hunt her down, and bring her the hell back; she’s still yours according to vampire law.”- Niccolo DiConti

Hannah | 468 comments ^She deserves tons of credit. The fact that everyone hates Keira and still finished the book is pretty amazing. lol

You need to read it though. You won't hate her as much. LOL

I was so impressed with that quote that i went straight to Amazon and downloaded both this and the first one. I could have sworn I already had accidentally married to a vampire, but must have been hallucinating!
