Mew Q: Hello again. Can you give us a hint on what will happen with Sebastian(Jonathan)?

message 105: by Gal (new) - rated it 5 stars

Gal Hey Cassandra! I love your books! What is your advise for a wanna-be-author? Which is your favorite book series? Did you wanted to be an author from when you were a child?

message 106: by Marie (new) - added it

Marie In the Infernal Devices books, are we going to learn how Jace's ancestor got the touched by an angel?

Fatimah Q: Who is your favourite author and is you writing style similar to theirs?

Kelsi Calliari What started the idea of the mortal instruments and the infernal devices? And are the characters in the mortal instruments ever going to meet the characters in the infernal devices? I love your work Cassandra, thank you so much for writing such a great series!

message 109: by Nicole (new) - added it

Nicole Land Q: What made you want to start writing these books?

message 110: by Rosalie (new)

Rosalie S Q: can you hint on what will happen to Tess and Will's relationship?

message 111: by Lucy (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lucy Q: I've been really wandering about Will.....Why does he always think he lost everything?? Whats with his past that hes so worried about? why does he take his long walks to nowhere?!?!?!?! Why did he send his parents away?!?! and my last question is why did you make Tessa immortal? and how come they don't know what she is?!?!?!?!?!?

message 112: by Gina (new) - rated it 5 stars

Gina Comment and Question... Thank you so much for Will showing up on page 11! I was wondering how long I would have to wait to be back in his life. I love being in this world u have created. Still waiting on Magnus to show up! lol

message 113: by Gina (new) - rated it 5 stars

Gina Heres my question: Can you write me in to the book, I have a really good name (Gina) and allow my character to sweep Will off his feet and marry him? LOL OR I could turn Magnus's head and marry him! :) Either way makes me very happy girl! :D

Nerissa Umm I sort of wonder a lot in while read the two series, that: as Jace's last name is Herondale and William's is too! So... i really think: maybe there's some sort of relationship in them? Like, William is Jace's great grandfather or something??

message 115: by [deleted user] (new)

Hello! My name is Emanuela and you are my favourite author. I know that people often say this to you, but you are really great. I have 2 questions. Should there be a curse upon the Horondale boys? Frst Will, Jace's father, Steven, then Jace. Who knows what the rest of the Horondales have gone through? The 2nd question: Since Tessa appers in rge end of "City of Glass", does this mean that whoever of the two she remained with /Will or Jem?/ they have both died and she is immortal? Shall we have an answer to this question in some of your books? Thank you!

message 116: by Liz (new) - rated it 5 stars

Liz Fox q Who are your favourite authors? Also who inspired you to start writing?

message 117: by Catherine (new) - added it

Catherine i love your books. what was it like to start these books. are you going to make any more of the clockwork books. i would love for you to.

message 118: by Shale (new) - rated it 4 stars

Shale What is the big secret that Will has been hiding and that is preventing him from loving Tess? Will it be addressed in this book?

message 119: by Mic (last edited Dec 08, 2011 10:58AM) (new) - rated it 2 stars

Mic A lot of the questions asked, Cassie's answered on her FAQ page on her website- just a thought, if you want to go find your answers there.

I loved CP! I think it's my favorite book I've ever read by you. My question is: what do you feel in the days leading up to Book Release Day? Are you excited, nervous, a combination of both? When you wake up on the day, does it hit you right away? Do you dash down to the nearest book store?

Cheers

message 120: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy Q I understand that in mortal instruments you are like Simon but we dont get that same innocent yet sarcastic character in the infernal devices so who would you compare yourself to in this series

message 121: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy Q when you first started writing about these characters did you ever think it would get so big

message 122: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy q how did you get into writing because it a big ambition of mine any tips???

message 123: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy Q you always have these sarcastic, shut off characters in your books for like jace or will is that a tiny part off your personality

Nicholle Q: I love the part where Jem gets irritated and asks Tessa if because he's ill does that mean he can't love her/expect love. It reminds me of Jane Eyre where she asks if because she's plain does that mean she should expect less. Did you mean to do this? Thanks!

message 125: by SimBim (last edited Dec 08, 2011 12:20PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

SimBim Q: Loved Clockwork Prince...there's a load of pervy questions I had in mind, so I was wondering if Nate and Jessamine have actually consummated their marriage? Also are Will and Jem virgins? ;)

Shannon q I love the way you develop characters. How do you make them so three dimensional and real?

message 127: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy Do you see writing as just a job and really stressful or do you find it fun and enjoyable

message 128: by Skyler (new) - rated it 5 stars

Skyler Alysse Hi, I'm an absolutely huge fan! Q: Since you wrote Clockwork Angel after The Mortal Instruments, is it ever hard or frustrating that you already know the ending of The Infernal Devices series? Unlike The Mortal Instruments, the clockwork series has to end with certain dynamics in place to set the stage for The Mortal Instruments. Do you ever wish you could change how that series started to give The Infernal Devices a different ending?

message 130: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy q what drew you to writing stories for teens

message 131: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy q from both of your series there seem to be a few similarities between will and how jace is in the first 2 books

message 132: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy Q do you think you will ee

message 133: by Izzy (new) - added it

Izzy Q do you think you will ever write a follow up series for infernal devices like you did with TMI???

Jessica Shearer I'm currently writing a book that all my friends seem to like. Q: What do you do if you can't think of anything to write about and your only halfway through the book?

Taherah Im in love with your books!! How is Tessa linked with The Mortal Instruments series??

Taherah Q: How is Tessa linked with The Mortal Instruments series? Did you purposely make Will and Jace related?

message 139: by Rosa (new) - rated it 5 stars

Rosa Okay my question to great Ms. Clare is (drum roll please) since Tessa is immortal will she be making a cameo in the mortal instrument series like Magnus and Cammile?

message 140: by Posie (new) - rated it 4 stars

Posie Hi Cassandra! I absolutely love ALL of your books, and I'm so excited to hopefully get my question through. :) Out of all the characters in the Mortal Instruments, which do you relate to the most and why?

message 144: by Kelsey (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kelsey Q: Hey! First I'd like to say that I'm a huge fan and right before I was typing this I was rereading Clockwork Angel just so it will be fresh in my memory by the time I get Clockwork Prince. Anyways, while I was reading I noticed that it mentions the Pandemonium club. My question is if the Pandemonium club in London has anything to do with the club in New York decades after TID ? Because I mean obviously they have the same name so is there something beyond just the name that I'm missing? Like some symbolism or something? Any downworlder business that's going on there? Well I hope you get to my question and or answer it =) Again, I am a huge fan and your writing truly inspires me!! Lots of love, Kelsey

Samantha Hi cassandra i love the world you created for us to read your an amazing author and i think i speek for everyone when i say your books really get to me i feel as if i too am apart of them. I hold my breath waiting and wish time would go faster until your next dook from mortal instruments series and infernal devices series. im simply inlove with jace and will. i just finish clockwork prince and i was wondering if you could tell us if tessa does have some shadowhunter blood in her? The mortal instruments is my all time favorite series and i dont believe the infernal devices will surpass it but so far its going really great and who knows what will happy other then you. could you give us a sneak peak? :D

message 146: by Haley (new) - added it

Haley Q: How do you write such heart-wrenching scenes? Both kiss scenes (which are my favorite kiss scenes ever), and scenes like in CP chapter 20 that just turn on the water spouts. I am a young, want to be author and I want to learn all the secrets to writing wonderful novels! P.S.: I JUST finished reading CP and HOLY CRAP! It is my favorite book you've written so far! I've read the ending twice, and both kissing scenes at least half a dozen times already! And when I went upstairs to get some tissues my parents couldn't believe I was crying. I was called pathetic several times. And my younger sister started crying cause I was crying and she doesn't even know what happens. You have such a strong hold on mine and my sister's emotions :D Thanks for making such amazing, wonderful, beautiful series. You are my favorite author, no doubt about it!

message 147: by Dominique (new)

Dominique I love you mortal instrument series! I am trying to write a book right now, but I don't like it. Have you ever felt that way about any of the book you have written?

message 148: by Jordan (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jordan Q: If you were not a writter right now, what would you be doing?

Paige (TheBookVulture) I adore all of your works Cassandra and absolutely love Clockwork Prince! I know a few people who have written pieces inspired by music and sometimes other books. Where do you find the inspiration for your work? And, how hard is it to write those heartbreaking scenes? Thanks heaps Cassie! Good luck with your next books. :)

message 150: by Mew (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mew Hello Ms. Clare! My friend wanted me to ask you this question. What qualities does Magnus Bane want in a girl?
