OK, so I'm announcing and finishing my book all in the same post. :)

I read for my vampire book and here are my thoughts.

Overall, I liked the story. It was developed too fast for me though. The main character, Rio, is only a year out of his betrayal by Eva. Although I don't feel this new relationship is impossible, it fell together too fast for a man who suffers from mental instability and who doesn't trust women at the present. I did like Dylan as she was a truly 'normal' girl without any overly developed self-hate issues. (A pet-peeve of mine.)

A bit more relationship development and quite a bit more progress with the overall storyline of the Breed would have earned a third star. As is, it's only two. (OK, 2 1/2. C= )

In the checklist department, this is:

Blue Cover (I vote blue instead of yellow. Ya think?)
Urban Fantasy (I think I already have this one but...)
Ghost (The female lead in this book sees ghosts and one of the previous characters makes repeat ghost visits.)

I finished 5 stars. It really had been too long since I had read anything in the series. I am not a fan of the cliffy the left there though. At least they softened the blow a bit, could have been worse.

It had Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, and is Urban Fantasy.

Not sure if I liked this or not. I can't make up my mind. There was some good stuff in here but also some stuff I sure did not understand what the motivation was....I reserve judgment until the next book. which comes out soon and is about my favorite BDB since the beginning...except Wrath of course.

This week's book is by Nalini Singh. (this is a Jan/Feb Buddy read for me. Two birds with one stone since I did not start it yet.

Kristen from your to be read list I would recommend Unearthly it was a sweet quick YA read. Or I read Raziel earlier this month it was pretty good too.

I could not read Lover Mine so I am glad that I could at least finish this and I did enjoy reading it....but it was very confusing. Some wonderful and some weird and funny. Other than Wrath...Tohr was my favorite from day one with this series so the book coming up is intriguing.

I've started yesterday which is anthology, vampires, and I'm not sure what else. Like if this will have any other paranormal beings in it. I only read the first story so far so yeah. At least I'm making some progress now.

Lover Mine was probably my least favorite.

I agree with you...From the beginning I loved Tohr...(view spoiler)[and had rather they killed Cormia off like Wellsie and had Phury hook up with someone with some spunk! Ya know, someone who rocked the house at the mansion and kept his head spinning...someone who could bring him to life....instead of Yawn...boring old Cormia. (hide spoiler)] I think she is setting up Layla too....we shall see-the fun of reading.

I finished Vampire Mine. I give it 3.5 stars. Not my fav in the series, and some of it was not convincing. I do love the world created in the series and I enjoyed seeing other characters again.

It has Angels, Couple on the cover, Shifters, it is a Paranormal Romance and I'd call it a black cover.

Dusty, I'd call it green. You could probably push it for either. Green books are always harder for me to find though so I would go with green.
