R1 Team One - The Dark Side

OK, since I live on the west coast and it is already 5pm here in my world I thought I would ask for your opinion ladies...

This is Lizz's gig, but I'm guessing she has hit a snag in her schedule. Soooo, unless you guys object I think I will pull some mod duty here and pick an item from the list to get us going. Is that OK with you ladies? This is the 'practice' round anyway so the world won't end. :)

I'm posting this for the other team as well. If we can't find our Lizz by 5:30pm PST then I'll post a random item off the list.

OK, I had my kids pick with random finger pointing. (This is s totally scientific method, he-he.) One child with eyes closed, got 'Orange Cover' 2 out of 3 tries. I had the other wee person do it to have a larger test group and with one try, with eyes closed, he got 'Orange Cover'.


So I think the universe is telling us that 'Orange Cover' is the winner for the week!

My Orange Pick...but also was about Goddesses/Gods; The cover shows a couple & I also believe this falls under PNR.

3.0 stars...This is Book 2 about Triton, Dionysus, Eros & Hermis...all buddy's and Greek gods living in our mortal dimension. Each are ladies men who fall hopelessly in love with a mortal woman.

This installment is about a mortal, Ari and Dionysus (or Dio), the god of Wine and Ecstasy.

It is a fun, easy read...great premise, plot and you get lost in the story and I love the characters.....but it has some cheesy romance novel dialog and is at times difficult to accept.

I loved Tina Folsom's Scanguard Vampire Series but found that far superior to this series.

OK, I finished up Out of Time and I would give it 3 stars.

The characters were interesting enough, the story was solid without any gaping holes, and the dialogue had funny moments without tons of cheese. More time could have been spent on the time travel concept, but still good without. A nice light read.

I'm sorry guys, but I haven't read my orange book yet. I was feeling very fatigued last week, but I'm better now. An average book takes me a couple a days to read unless something comes up, but it took me 5 days to read a book last week. Is it okay that I can still read it this week for it to count?

Oh and I love the topic this week. From my pile of library books, it's either going to be or I'm not sure yet.

Thank you! Once I'm done reading a book for an upcoming blog tour this week, I'll get on reading the book for orange and vampire.
