Han | 4 comments The Sicarius interview was pure awesomeness! I loved it too.

Thanks for answering my question! :) I feel somewhat more relieved right now... your plan right now is perfect; don't change it ;D

Wow, I can't wait to see Tikaya/Rias and Sicarius's reunion... it'll be like "Dude, that kid assassin from 20 years ago has a kid the age of our kids..." xD

Can't wait for Sicarius's POV either (: And any short stories (((:

Thank you for being so dedicated to your work and for taking the time to answer questions!

Maria, Decrypted will be Guess Who's Coming to dinner fantasy style (so, ya know, blood and intrigue), and it'll take place right as they're arriving in the Kyatt Islands. ;) You'll have a good idea what those twenty years will entail, though, by the end, and some stuff will get set up for the end of EE6 (mucho author vagueness, oh, yes :P).

I'm glad you enjoyed the interview, H! Thanks for spending time in my world. :)

Rhianic (musicalocea) | 17 comments I just discovered by reading another book series of mine that it just isn't the same as the EE books. I can't get into it nearly as much as I can with your stories. After reading about Amaranthe I find myself disliking all of the female characters in the story. xD Some of the males as well because I'm comparing them too much to Sicarius and Maldy. Also, just want to ask a quick question on when the EE6 will be released, do you know? I realize it takes a lot of work into writing a story, but I'm just so eager!

Hey Rhianic!

So, just to get this straight... Maldynado ruined you for other men? And women too? :D (He made me say that. Ignore him.)

I'll be writing the Encrypted sequel next, so no date for EE6 yet, but I'll be working every day to keep the words flowing. Thanks for reading and posting!

Lindsay

Han | 4 comments Hey Lindsay, I don't know if you answered this somewhere else before, but do you have a soundtrack for your books? Like, are there any songs you listen to a lot when you write, or songs you feel match the books or characters? For me, every time I hear the first half of "Black Assassin" by Two Steps From Hell, I get an image of Sicarius racing across rooftops or through shadows, doing his assassin thing. xD And "Fountain of Life" (also by Two Steps From Hell—they make really awesome epic music :D) makes me think of Sicarius and Amaranthe or Sespian, for some reason.

Jeffrey Poole (authorjmpoole) Congrats Lindsay for making it on Apple's iBookstore Breakout Books Promotion! You're listed in their Sci-Fi/Fantasy section for The Emperor's Edge!

Good job! Here's a link in case you haven't seen the article...

Jeffrey Poole (authorjmpoole) You're welcome. They chose well. I really like the Emperor's Edge and the following sequels.

I hope it drives a lot of downloads/sales your way!

Jeffrey Poole (authorjmpoole) You betcha! I released the third in my series in October of last year. They are selling amazingly well. In fact, the interest has been so high in the series that I'm working on the fourth book set in the same land.

I was curious a while back and wanted to know where some of my fans were from (to this day I think it's bizarre to say that I have fans!), so I got really clever and found a WordPress add-on that puts a map of the world up and then places a little dot over the area where your visitors are from. I started getting hits from all over the US. Then the international visitors started appearing. Tons of hits from the UK. Then Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Romania, China, and Australia, just to name a few.

I have to say, I love being an author! Every time someone either looks me up on my blog, or friends me on Facebook validates all the hard work.

Yikes. Been prattling. Congrats again for being featured by Smashwords!

J.

I liked your choice on Fountain of Life by Two Steps From Hell. The other one I didn't really like. But I found it easier to imagine scenes and characters from the EE series with Fountain of Life.

Asura | 2 comments How about Richard Armitage as Sicarius? I feel he has the right face apart from the dark hair and eye color. But with contacts and maybe dying his hair a blond-ish color I feel he'd pull it off.
