SJ I'm going to see it tonight. I'm glad I read this thread--now I know to stay for the credits!

Wish I had done that..lol. Hope you enjoy it :)

SJ I give the movie 2 thumbs up! It was faithful to the book, had good performances by the main actors and the music was great. The only weak spot was the wolf pack scene--that was pretty sad. The honeymoon was my favourite part--the locale was perfect and it was very romantic. Great ending. Can't wait for part 2!

I can't wait either! I wish they would release it earlier than late 2012.

I have seen it twice, a week ago from today. However, this time instead of leaving immediately after the credits starting coming up I stayed and saw the part of Voltery (sp)when they received news of Bella's change/addition to the family and declared that the Cullens have something they want......

As, I don't know if you you guys see the same previews I have seen here in Bermuda but I am looking forward to see Bella/Kristen in another movie where I believe she is "Snow White" I think the movie is called Snow White and the Hunter. The Hunter is "Thorn" yeppie! That movies does not show until Summer. :-(

Jamielyn | 45 comments Yes, Kristen will portray Snow White.

I watched the trailer and it seems like a good movie. :)

I did enjoy Breaking Dawn Part One. Although I have to say, when the wolves were arguing over the birth of Bella's baby, that scene was REALLY retarded! Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Wish they would release the rated R version for us adults though!

THUMBS UP!!!!!

Shannon, I agree, not my favorite part to read, but I think this movie was closer and more faithful to the book then the first three books. I cried a little here and there, especially when Edward and Jacob thouth Bella was dead. I cried right at the moment when Jacob fell to the ground and starded crying, it was sad. I did like how the special effects made Bella look like a skeleton and weak. Plus, how jacob imprinted was pretty cool. November 2012 is too far away, I hope they move it up to the summer, let's cross our fingers :)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 368 comments I loved it! Can't wait for the last one. I hope the movie is as intense as the book was. I wish they'd give Emmett more time though. He is so funny.

He is funny. I loved the speeches at the wedding. I thought they were hysterical (especially when her mother sang)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 368 comments Me too! Her dads part was funny too. I can't believe how horrible Bella looked towards the end of the movie

I thought they did that part amazingly. I loved the way her skin filled out, her complexion cleared, and her hair was revitalized. I also really liked the special effects with the venom moving through her body and her spine fusing back together. It was really well done.

Do you know when Part 2 is supposed to be released?

November 2012

Courtney | 27 comments I think the special effects on Bella during her pregnancy and the venom going through her body and the change were my favorite parts, very well done :) I hope they push the movie up to the summer :)

Jenny (jennyy2) | 4 comments Thumbs up definitely! I absolutely loved it! I think everthing was perfect and I also liked everyone's acting. It's way more relaxed than in the previous movies. I'm going to see it again next week. Can't wait! :)

Courtney | 27 comments I just saw it for the second time and it just seems to get better and better, and it makes me want to see the next one now, I wish I had a time machine lol

message 122: by Cece (new)

Cece A (cecea) Thumbs way up... I really enjoyed the movie. Everything seemed better from the acting to the book to movie transition. I'm about to got watch it again and I feel excited because I know what's coming and I know it's good. Bella's deterioration was believeable, Edward was real and Jake was amazing... this to me is the best of the franchise so far. Can't wait till next year...BTW... Nessie is gorgeous..

message 123: by Fallon (new)

Fallon Farmer | 11 comments I agree that I loved how they showed inside her body changing . And I loved how they stayed more to the book, but I feel like that they could have put a little bit more from the book into it. More major parts. but all in all It was great can't wait for Part 2!

message 124: by Courtney (new)

Courtney | 27 comments The "Jacob Chapters" were the best in the book, but I do hope they put more Jacob vs. Rosalie in the second part of the film; they were the best, especially the blonde jokes :)

message 125: by Donna (new)

Donna | 2 comments Thumbs up definitely Xx

message 127: by Kiersten (new)

Kiersten Fay (kierstenfay) | 293 comments So far, this is the best movie adaptation. Now I just wish the could go back and redo all the other movies!

message 128: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (wckdktty) | 13 comments I thought it was the best of the series so far. I hope part 2 is as good since its more fighting and action.

Agreed. I actually did not like this movie but I didn't read past the first book...I'm looking forward to its redemption in #4.

message 130: by AnnMarie (last edited Jul 03, 2012 07:09PM) (new)

AnnMarie (credoroza) I've read all the books, and personally, I found the adaptations very poor in all the movies. I understand creative license, however when key scenes, especially the hinges to the actual story lines are left out and "filler" is added, it is disappointing.

But I have that problem with any movie I see after reading the books :)

Oh, and the hair and make up was worse and worse on every new release. No idea why that was handled so poorly. They should have kept the crew from Twilight. They did the best job in my opinion giving the visual to the written words.

So yeah, after all these words I spouted, I would say Twilight was the best one :)

Definitely better than the books imho

It wasn't bad. I thought their acting got a whole lot better. The actors aren't stiff anymore. Although I can't remember if they cut my favorite part- when Jacob threw his "doggy bowl" at Rosalie and got hit in the head.

message 133: by Adina (new)

Adina West (Adina_West) | 5 comments I agree with others who said the very ending was done well, with Bella's change. And also Bella during her pregnancy - she looked pretty scary, but believable!

The hair and makeup gets a big thumbs down from me, as many of the characters did look pasty, and as well I tend to feel they should have stayed consistent from the first movie onwards. Jasper, for one, looked totally different in each movie, despite the actor being the same...

message 134: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly Steele (kimberlysteele) I liked the first two Twilight movies the best -- I may be alone here but I did not care for Breaking Dawn. The pregnancy thing grossed me out and the werewolf CGI was not good.

message 135: by Tracy (new)

Tracy (tlynnkfs) | 13 comments I agree I was dusappointed in breaking dawn part 1. Just didn't do the book justice. I liked an enjoyed the other movies. Saw the movies first after badgering from my kids then went and read the books
