Becky (beckyofthe19and9) | 1894 comments I thought about that too, Denae. Like tsunami... but it didn't seem right for some reason. Easier, though. *shrug*

Stupid consonants.

I was thinking of tchotchkes, that sort of guttural Yiddish sound

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) | 1894 comments I'll tell you though, books like this make me fall in love with my nook all over again. This 1007 page thing is a beast in MMPB size. I could not even imaging lugging around the hardcover.

*hugs my nook* ♥

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) | 1894 comments I know... I lugged A Dance With Dragons in HC around NYC for a day, and I swear it seemed to gain a pound every block. LOL

Mine shows up tomorrow.

...I knew I should've done my Christmas shopping last month. Oh well, sucks to be them.

Not gonna do it

I'll find a playstyle I like, spend too much time perfecting it, then they'll nerf it or pull a Sony and kill the game.

It'll all end in tears.

message 1116: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments Christmas shopping? What's that?

*hasn't even started yet*

Christmas is cancelled this year anyway, didn't you guys hear? I say so :P

I roll with it. In City of Heroes I had a baddass scrapper spines/regen. She was nerfed pretty early in the game. Then they "fixed" scrappers. nerfed again, and so on and so on. I had friends who re-rolled their scrappers everytime and were never happy. As long as I was still doing damage I was happy and having fun.
Toward the end of my time, I kept having folks telling me I was just playing "the flavor of the month". Heh, they couldn't believe that this was the build I'd been using since launch.

Hmm, need to see if they raised the level cap again. Its free to play now iirc....

Lesson here kids: Don't be a mid-maxer. Play to have fun. :)

message 1118: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments Also, I keep reading the title of this thread and thinking "I'll taste your rainbow, bitch".

*such a lady*

Maggie K | 693 comments OOOOh Dawn-such a tough cookie! Someone is in a bad mood!

I have been playing Skyrim. Love it Love it, Love it. But I know if I turn it on, I am going to lose at least 3 hours, so somedays I catch up on housework or reading instead....lol

Got caught up in Malazan though so this weekend looks good for me!

message 1120: by [deleted user] (last edited Dec 16, 2011 05:15AM) (new)

I had a maxed emp/healer in CoH for a while. Sadly he's gone. Tried playing the new F2P version of CoH and just wasn't fun anymore. Ah well.

And Dawn, I got a rainbow for ya <.<

message 1121: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments Yeah, today is definitely an anger day. Which pisses me off because I was all depressed and shit, which is closer to acceptance. And now I'm back at fuck you world. And fuck you grief for fucking me out of my funk.

Ummmmmm sorry. There shall be effbombs from me today.. Oh there shall be plenty.

Fucking rainbows :P

message 1122: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments I want a little picture of that Calvin and Hobbes guy pissing on a rainbow, that would be perfect.

message 1124: by Maggie (new)

Maggie K | 693 comments lolol-

I can understand-I have been crabby all week and finally figured out its guilt for not going to my uncle's funeral because I was 'too busy at work". I hate funerals, and rarely go, then always regret it.

message 1125: by Dawn (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 462 comments I'm really very sweet and gentle and ladylike, I swears it.

Sometimes.

I prefer to be called feisty.
