I taught myself with Stitch 'N Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook a couple years ago. It's not too bad, and that book does a good job of explaining things.

Sounds wacky. I like this: "genre-busting." I'll try to participate but my plate is pretty full in December. I'll be interested to see what people say about it.

I actually know all that stuff quiet well. I just find all those games from the 80s too over spread, same goes for me for the 90s.

How dare Cline write about what he wanted to write about, without even consulting the official list of things Kevin says you are or aren't allowed to write about?!? The nerve of some people.

He can write about whatever he wants, and I can have my believe whatever I want.

I never met one outside of an internet meme. ;)

I've known several, but they typically had better taste, most were smarter, and absolutely all of them were fully literate in their first language, so I never made the connection. Thank you, Ala!

How precisely does one possess a verb?

it's always so nice to stop in on this group to enjoy all the wonderful Mean Girls style pile-up action from Nicki Denae Colleen etc et al. Kevin makes high-handed comments all the time; is this still a surprise? he is talking about his own opinions. yet the Mean Girls group and their adherents still seem to think that it is their holy mission to get together, gang up, and insult him with their various condescending insults. annoying outsider comments by one person met by group-think bullying by a lot of folks who should know better - and even encouraged by one of the moderators. it's all so gross and pathetic. gosh what a great big cuddly circle jerk of a group this is. poor aggravating Kevin has certainly done wonders for increasing the warmth and closeness of your relationships together! you all have learned that being personally insulting and contemptuous is so much easier when done with one mind! you should thank him.
Oh hi, mark. Thank you for so warmly welcoming me back to the group. I see you still cannot correctly use punctuation. Good to see nothing has changed while I was gone.
:)

Especially when that comment is preceded by him saying he thinks a book he never read is 'overrated'.
If you don't like a book that's fine but you should either be able to give real criticism or ignore the topic completely. If Kevin is going to make illogical and contrarian posts he shouldn't be surprised by peoples' reaction.

..ahem..or at least Mean?
He left out a lot of people. We'd never leave you out, Chris! *tackle hug* *hands over booze of choice & brownies*
See my whole point is that I had certain fads like The Lion King being the best Disney movie just because so many people loves it.

You don't even want to get in the middle.
Kevin wrote: "See my whole point is that I had certain fads like The Lion King being the best Disney movie just because so many people loves it."What the hell does this comment even mean? Seriously... It makes no sense. It has no point. It's just.. Do you even try to compose comprehensible sentences? Or do you just spew whatever comes to mind and hit post without reading it?
Kevin wrote: "See my whole point is that I had certain fads like The Lion King being the best Disney movie just because so many people loves it."This is absolutely false. Everyone knows the best Disney movie is The Little Mermaid.
I mean, just look at that castle!

You all should know, I always on the opposite side of most fads.
I already had this on my wishlist and decided to get the ebook to try out on my new Kindle Fire. I'm a third of the way through and loving it! Total nerd-gasm!
Becky wrote: "This is absolutely false. Everyone knows the best Disney movie is The Little Mermaid..."THIS!!!!

what would I give, if I could live, out of these waters...
Becky wrote: "I mean, just look at that castle! "Is that a castle in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me? ;)
Besides, Beauty & the Beast is the best. Belle reads. :)
Ronald wrote: "Does this happen often? If so, where can I buy tickets?"I always start the augment, then the same four of five people are always on the others side. At the end it just turns into a screaming match that always gets nowhere.
