Looking for a specific type of UF

Hi, I'm new here. I joined this group hoping you all could help me find more of what I like. I'm looking for more UF that for one thing doesn't have to do with Vampires/Werewolves. Been there, done that, sort of bored with it at the moment and currently looking for something different. I liked LKH's Merry Gentry Series and I really liked Mercedes Lackey's Elemental Masters books. I'm looking for books along those lines.

you could try Devon Monk's Allie Beckstrom series - starts with Magic to the Bone

Oh yes that is one of my favourite series.

Here's a few for you. Some I've read and others have wonderful reviews on GRs. I've listed the first book in the series. No vampires or werewolves but magic, faerie, angels and demons.

Oh Nalini Singh has a wonderful UF about angels.. though it does have SOME vampire elements in it but the main sotryline deals with angels and archangels. It is by far my favorite series ever.




You may not like it due to the vampire elements in it but it really is wonderful.

I would have to agree with all of the other suggestions too :)
