I'm in...I think I'm going with Turkey because my mind automatically goes to food when November comes up!
Jennifer wrote: "I'm in...I think I'm going with Turkey because my mind automatically goes to food when November comes up!"LOL! I was thinking the same time, Jennifer!
Strangely enough, I decided to change my mind on this one today. I wanted to use this challenge to decrease the size of my TBR tower and I didn't have any "K" books available. Darn it!
Jennifer, does that mean you won't be participating?Michelle, you can definitely make it work! If you can't, I can! LOL!
Turkey sounded good to me - nice and short & I love to eat it! - but I have trouble with the 'Y', so I'm probably going to go with Thankful - off to look for the rest of the books!
I wonder how hard it would be to spell G O R G E with books. I gorge myself on T-Day food and books!

That's what I mean. As you finish your books, if you want your stats updated in the PARTICIPANTS box, just post how many of those 10 you've read. You don't have to update the original post if don't want to, but I do need it done in a new post as you go.
By having it listed clearly at the top of your comment/post, it makes it easy for me to quickly find it and update for you.
I can always depend on this group when the other ones have crap challenges for the month. I'm going to spell my favorite part of Turkey Day.November 2011 BOYC

Oh, Lethal. Thank you so much! I'm glad these challenges are fun and easy to work with. I know there are people who don't like them because they aren't really challenging enough, but I feel like it's more fun to challenge ourselves and see if we can stick to it.And you can ALWAYS succeed because you can change the challenge right up through the last day.
Exactly! Your challenges are versatile. You can make them as hard or as easy as you want. And when it comes to challenge-hoes like me-who feel like they can't read a book unless it's for a challenge-the ones you host are a freaking godsend. I'm pushing myself by reading an acrostic but I'm not running around like a headless chicken trying to look for "a book about a part-Indian, part-Swedish hero who has a pencil for a penis & is in love with his German Shepherd". Muah!
LethalLovely wrote: "I'm not running around like a headless chicken trying to look for "a book about a part-Indian, part-Swedish hero who has a pencil for a penis & is in love with his German Shepherd". Muah!"ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!
That's hysterical!
(By the way, if you ever DO come across a book like that one, please let me know.)
Lisa Kay wrote: "Lord! Don't get me wheezing again."I still say we'd have a great time in an old fart's home together. We could have Walker Races!
**Lisa Kay snorts inelegantly** Definitely! With bright yellow and orange tennis balls on the bottom.
BJ Rose wrote: "Cathy, thanks for reminding me that I do have a 'V' author - Victoria Holt!! LMAO @ Lisa Kay & UM! UM, I'm sure you could find a pencil penis in one of those Harlequins *shudders* you read.
You read more than I do which is...what? 4 in 21 years of life? I'm not scared of many things but you throw a Harlequin at me & I'll piss myself.

I go through my Harlequin Presents phase. I snap out of it... but I always go back. Yes! New Halloween all HP!
