Since there are no books in you to-read I was going blind but I heard good things about

Good reading.

I just finished reading A Kingdom of Dreams today and it was very good. So I'll read In Bed with a Highlander and Just Like Heaven for my November picks.

EDIT: Actually, both books look very interesting. I think I'll keep the other one in my head as well. Thanks again!

I've picked Villette as I like the Bronte sisters but haven't read this one. Would like to hear what you think.
Your backup book is For Whom the Bell Tolls. You have a very impressive to read before you die list of the classics. Happy Reading!!

I've had Ender's Game for a few months now...now I have to read it. Awesome! =D Thanks.

Okay Cindy...I picked:

Thanks Jaime for the picks. Those are fine selections 2 of which keep getting shuffled around my TBR mountain even though I really want to read them. LoL!

I would like easy. My genre to read would be cozy mystery or just mystery.

Let me know if they don't work for you and I'll choose two more!

Well I can say that I have just finished reading my three recommended books, bitten, moon called and half way to the grave. I have to say Don't know which one i like better they were all awesome. I do have to say mercy is wonderful in her greasy glory and the way it was writen left me moving on to other books in the series. half way to the grave also has me reading other books about bones and cat. I just am speechless about how much i enjoyed the werewolf and vampire books. I have not read these types of books before, always more angel and demon, but i think a switch is now in order.
If anyone else wants to recommend any other books or authors that might be a good read i am open for any more suggestions. and cant wait to read more about mercedes, cat and bones. the bitten book was a slow starter but ended very strong and i enjoyed reading about her personal struggle with the pack and being bitten. however it ended without full closure for me. I hope there is a another to round it out.

Check out J R Ward

The wimp in me won out. I wasn't particularly enjoying the books (paranormal is just not my genre) but then it got scary and I REALLY didn't like them then. I tried, which is more than I thought I could do. That was the whole point of me taking on this challenge, reading something I definitely wouldn't pick up for myself. I may not have finished but I did try. :-)

Dani, maybe try

Deb, What is the Pagan Stone series and who is it by, never heard of it? Should it be added to my ever growing tbr pile, lol
Glad your liking BDB series - any favorite characters yet?
I'm not too far into it yet, so I'm still absorbing the characters.
The series I refer to as 'The Pagan Stone' series is actually called "Sign of Seven". A trilogy by Nora Roberts.

Thanks Melissa! I just went to the library last night (bah!) but I'll see if it has these and swipe them off the shelves on Saturday. Scare factor is definitely not my thing. World building I can handle.

I hope you like them, i don't remember either of these being very scary - however this is the girl who used to read Stephen King and Dean Koontz in my late teens☺ It by Stephen King still gives me the creeps however i'm better at reading them than going to the movie -then I'm a huge wimp, lol
