Arlene glad you liked it, the rest of the trilogy is really good too and if I remember correctly not as hard to get into.....

Arlene Mullen (ammullen02) | 79 comments Yeah they included the first chapter of the next book at the end and it looked really good. I think I might end up buying the rest since I liked the first one

So glad you liked it; it is on my TBR pile. Thinking of 'starting" that series in January - something to look forward to with all the cold/dreary weather we get in Chicago over the winter months☺

Chantaal One down, one to go!

message 156: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Finished A Certain Slant of Light and highly enjoyed it:) While it's grouped as YA I would say very mature YA. Story goes through a wide range of issues that would bother some people. The writing is gorgeous, and I do recommend it. Thanks for chosing it for me!

I read Moon Called and loved it! Hope you do too.

message 158: by Danie (new)

Danie (heyydanie) Finished both of my books! I absolutely loved Delirium. It was amazing. Bumped was alright, but I didn't enjoy the ending.

Thanks so much for recommending both of these, Dawn!

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) | 929 comments Finished Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1) by Orson Scott Card . Loved it!

message 160: by Katy (new)

Katy (katybean27) I'm reading my book, but I got it late, so I'm gonna have to read fast! ha ha. So far, The Stranger Beside Me: Ted Bundy The Shocking Inside Story by Ann Rule is pretty interesting. Lots of detail.

message 161: by Paris (new)

Paris (pah13) | 4285 comments All done. Thanks Natasha for picking my books!

message 162: by Katy (new)

Katy (katybean27) I think my book will be the death of me. It's interesting, and definitely one I wanted to read. I just feel like I'm not making any progress. LOTS of detail and repetition. Still got a few days, so I'm hanging in there!

message 163: by Chantaal (new)

Chantaal Woohoo, done! I've done so much reading this past week my head is spinning. XD

message 164: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cynx) Update: 2/3 completed!

message 165: by ~Jennifer~ (new)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) | 929 commentsI'm updating the list for completions. If you're done and I don't have you marked as complete on the participant list, please let me know so I can update it.

How was this challenge? Any feedback on ways to improve it? Next month's is already posted so if there's anything we can do to make it better, please let me know!

Thanks!

message 166: by Cathy (new)

Cathy Galloway | 555 comments I finished Just Like Heaven and I loved it! JQ always writes such great HEAs.

message 167: by Zany Rin (new)

Zany Rin (zany_rin) I updated but don't think I will finish in time because I got sidetracked. :o(

message 168: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cynx) I have one more book to read, 1/3 thru already and I should finish before the month is up! I think it's a great challenge, another way to learn of new books/authors that we've never heard of before.

message 169: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cynx) Update: 3/3 Completed!! :)

Thanks for picking my books Katya! ♥'ed Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard

message 170: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) | 355 comments I am trying to read Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1) by Kelley Armstrong , having a hard time keeping up with it. The main characters train of thought is all over the place.

I will finish tonight, I will finish tonight, I will finish tonight...

message 171: by ~Jennifer~ (new)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) | 929 comments I had a hard time with that one, too. I just didn't like any of the characters. Every single one of them got on my nerves. =/ I haven't continued the series just because of it.

message 172: by Katy (new)

Katy (katybean27) Well, I did it. I finished my book, just under the wire. I read The Stranger Beside Me: Ted Bundy The Shocking Inside Story by Ann Rule and it was a huge book for me. 656 pages, with all the additions. It was a hard read, a bit repetitive, but interesting. I'll definitely read more from Ann Rule! This was fun!

message 173: by ~Jennifer~ (new)

~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) | 929 comments Congrats to everyone who finished. I hope everyone enjoyed the challenge. It's always nice to get new ideas for books to read. ☺

Archiving to make room!
