This has definitely happened to me. I'll think about it for more examples, but currently in another group we're discussing Wells' The Time Machine and I know I'd love more of his adventures, or at least some answers to what happened next.
Time Machine is very short, frustratingly so.Mary Sutter was a great book, I remember - but I don't remember details. I bet it would be good to read more about her.
Judy wrote: "Linda wrote: "When I read My Name is Mary Sutter I yearned for a sequel, I so loved this book and adored Mary."What would you put in a sequel, if it was up to you?"
I guess more about her experiences as a doctor during a time when female doctors were not accepted. There could be so much more written about that and her personality (bull-headed and persistent) could make at least one more book interesting for me.
I would LOVE for "The Princess Bride" to have a sequel. Others I would like more of are "The Book of Negroes," "Remembrance" by Jude Deveraux, and "The Reckoning."

I started reading Agatha Christie's autobiography but didn't finish it. It wasn't that I didn't like it. I think I set it down and didn't get back to it.
