The first book is really good. To me the second wasn't as good. I stopped reading that series in the beginning of the 2nd book.
I agree with Nida, the 2nd book isn't as good but I still intend to read the third.Have you read her other series which starts with 'Among the hidden'? I think they're really worth a read.
I liked them all really! Chip and Jonah's sister was weird though.

I feel that it just went down hill from the first book. They became harder and harder to understand but I feel that the first was the best but the 2nd was good 3rd okay 4th hard to understand.
I gave up on the second cause it was boring
I liked the first, hated the second, loved the third, and was ish on the fourth. I can't wait until the fifth comes out though
