I don't know of a Helen or Anne in the Bible."
anne [french] i think is the anglicized form of anna, latinized form oh hebrew hannah--mentioned in the new testament.
Helen is derived from Elianah (Hebrew), El-Elohe-Israel (toponym) in Genesis. It's Luna's turn to post a new category.
Helen is from the Greek (Think of Helen of Troy) :http://www.thinkbabynames.com/meaning.... No Helen in Christian Bible. Hannah was a character in the Old Testament (I Samuel), but there was an Anna in the New Testament.
Don't know whose turn it is, so will pick something less controversial. Name ten countries that END in the letter A.

Both names, having biblical origin, are acceptable.
