There are 50 SoG and Zombies
50 Shades of beige
50 Shades of black and blue.
I would like to say i was not overly impressed with the free sample I got on my kindle. There is better erotica out there by far.
I got the sample. I was reading a parody and thought I should. The sample was so dry I couldn't finish it.
If you read through the pages Michael, you'll see that you need at least 50 posts in your authors thread and Simon to be not busy!

I'm not quite sure where this is going so any suggestions welcome."
first time I have really checked this page out nice to know its here for our kindles :))
Well, the good news is I've just put a purchase of £150 through our store. The bad news is that the microwave has died.

No, luckily it didn't. We have had incidents where our microwaves have gone to meet their maker by self-immolation.It seems to be overheating, so it can be used for short periods. Mind you, it does get a hammering. I seem to remember rushing down to Argos to get our current one because its predecessor had clapped out.
Linda uses the micro as her major cooking item, so it's no great surprise that they only last a few years.

Bart, that's lovely. :)
Please if you need help finding your way in the group, just ask. We are more than happy to help. :)
Is the store not working now? Only I tried to add the tag to something and got a page not found error. Unless I just haven't cracked this adding the tag thing.
As a rule of thumb :If you see an & anywhere in the web address add &tag=ethings-21
Otherwise add
?tag=ethings-21
I think amazon are mucking about with it all.
It's great to be here. I have a question for the group. How can new self-publish authors reach avid book readers? I'm new to this self-publishing thing and I have many "friends" on facebook and Twitter, however I don't think most of them are book buyers/readers. I've joined a few forums on Goodreads, but I'm very careful about promoting. It appears to be frowned upon. So how do authors without a publishing house behind him/her do it? I'm open to suggestions.
You've started off well by joining our group, Timothy. We love authors.Do have a good look around. I think the most important threads for a new author member to read are the 'please read before posting here' threads.
We do want to hear about your book(s) and there are plenty of places in the group to promote, your author thread being the most significant.
Read a few of the very active author threads to get an idea of how the successful ones work.
Any questions,please just ask.
Thanks, Patty! I'm still figuring out how Goodreads works. The "please read before posting here" threads are helpful. Thanks Again.
Just a small question: How do I get my novel 'Tom Fleck' onto the 'Books by our Active Authors'? Do I need to email someone?
Simon (Highwayman) wrote: "Done - I think."That was swift! The title, links and blurb are all there now. Thank you, Simon.
I'd like to make sure my kindle has went through the store Simon. My Internet was horrid so don't know if it worked. Thanks.
It did Elle. Thanks for that. The store has been very quiet recently so every bit helps. I suppose we should think of some new competitions :)
I keep meaning to have a good think after there was a thread asking for suggestions. I'll make a point of brainstorming sometime this week. Also, probably post-christmas slump is getting to everyones wallets.
