Just finished DEAD SLEEP by Greg Isles. Really kept my interest, and I thought his rendering of a female protagonist was pretty dead-on. B+.

Is it a reread or your first time? I LOVE that book, actually I need to reread it myself.

My favorite Brontë book is either Jane Eyre or Anne Brontë's Agnes Grey but I've never had the chance to read Shirley by Charlotte and would really like to.

I am in the middle of Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I find the pages of this book turning themselves. While I didn't much enjoy The Hunger Games I found this book much better. Will be curious to see what I think about Mockingjay.I am also reading Year of Wonders and will begin listening to Room, later today.
Currently reading
and listening to Provenance: How a Con Man and a Forger Rewrote the History of Modern Art. Both are pretty good so far.

Heard Lee Child speak during the Fall. He has a wonderful sense of humor. That said I have never read one of his books.Currently reading Second Hand Smoke by Thane Rosenbaum.
Libby wrote: "In the middle of THE AFFAIR by Lee Child. He never disappoints -- he makes it look easy."I finished that a few days ago. Another winner from Child.
Have decided to hold off on the new Anne Tyler book, The Beginner's Goodbye and finished Second Hand Smoke this morning. I expect to finish Stay Close tomorrow and contin ue to read The Arrogant Years.
I'm reading
by B.B. Haywood, this is the first book in the Candy Holiday series. I like the main characters and I like the plot.
I've just finished Hot Six by Janet Evanovich, now I'm reading Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.
What am I not reading? _-_ haha I'm sure most of us here have the same 'Problem'.Right now I'm reading
and re reading
as well as trying to get to the other unread books on my Kindle *covers eyes*
I've finished reading Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell last night and I absolutely loved it! Today I've started A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard.
I am reading 2 classics, Madame Bovary, by Gustave Flaubert, & The Tin Drum, by Gunter Grass, & started a free read, The Spice Necklace by Amy Vanderhoof. The last one my husband won for something during Nurses' Week (he's a critical care/trauma RN). He flipped through it & said, well, it has recipes, which works, even though it's really a "chick lit" book. So far I'm finding the story itself to be quite entertaining, & the couple of recipes I've looked at look delicious, since we both enjoy Caribbean cooking, so it's a double win!
I've finished Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris this afternoon and now I'm reading White Oleander by Janet Fitch.
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. I'm halfway through and it's very good so far.
Best wishes, Stephen Livingston.
I'm reading The Year of Living Biblically: One Man's Humble Quest to Follow the Bible as Literally as Possible
I just finishedMidnight Rambler byJames Swain . All I can say is wow! I read another book out of order and it was great so I started this one which is the first in the series and love it. Jack Carpenter reminds me a lot of Harry Bosch the way he's does what it takes to bring justice to baddies. Not quite Jack Reacher level but it does make you root for Jack Carpenter. I'm picking up the second book in the series today.
I've just finished reading White Oleander by Janet Fitch and I'm about to start The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks.
