I'm going to nominate A Log Cabin Christmas: 9 Nine Romances of American Pioneer Christmases, which includes novellas from some of my favourite historical authors, such as Margaret Brownley and Kelly Eileen Hake. I read a similar collection to this last Christmas and loved it! Perfect for busy days when you don't have time to sit down and read for very long, and I do like short stories at Christmas time :)Also, this collection is on NetGalley!

Sounds like a good choice to me.

Kristy, that's the one I read last Christmas - loved it!

I just grabbed it on NetGalley and it sounds like a wonderful holiday read!
Yay! I'm not always a fan of short stories but Christmas always seems to be the perfect time for them :)
So I'm going to be different and not nominate short stories. I nominate Promise Me by Richard Paul Evans
Oh, I'm gonna do it again... could you please change my nomination to a book a friend passed on to me. I get a kick out of the fact that all the titles in the series are old song titles. It's part of the When I Fall in Love series -- I'll Be Home for Christmas by Julie L. Cannon.
P.S. One of these days I'll learn to wait to make my nomination until I've thought it through a bit more. Sorry for being so fickle.

Haha, no worries, Barbara! I actually have that book on my wishlist so I'm glad you're nominating it :) There's always time to change your vote - and I'm excited to see which one gets picked tomorrow!
And the winner is...#3: Christmas Mail-Order Brides: Four Mail-Order Brides Travel the Transcontinental Railroad in Search of Love by Susan Page Davis!
Congrats on having your book chosen, Camille :)
Lorie wrote: "I wish I had it but it looks like you can order it for about 4-5 dollars"I got a copy from Amazon marketplace including P&P for £2.12 - that's my bargain for the week! It's a used copy but I don't mind that, I'll probably pass it on to my mum to read afterward anyway.
I am looking forward to reading this. After reading A Hopeful Heart by Kim Vogel Sawyer, I would love to read more similarly themed stories.

I don't know how much that is in US dollars Rachel.

Apparently $3.35?
I was so excited today -- I thought I had picked up next month's read from the reduced fiction section at Lifeway bookstore! But when I got home I realized that I actually picked up Kristy's suggestion, A Prairie Christmas Collection: 9 Historical Christmas Romances from America's Great Plains by Tracie Peterson. Oh well, with getting that one & two others I also got Love Finds You under the Mistletoe for free.
