Sandy asked, "Tyrion was definitely smart to escape. Did you think it was a little too easy though?"I keep debating that too, but Tyrion thinks his owner has less then 24 hours to live, so how many chances will he get?
She also said, "I think his subconscious was dealing with things that have happened in the past. He is only a teenager, a bastard, always treated badly by Catelyn...and now he's in this high position...there is likely some part of him that feels he doesn't deserve it.'
Could be.
Wiki ice talks of the Tattered Prince:
He established the mercenary company some thirty years before the events in the books. When the Tattered Prince was twenty-three the magisters of Pentos had chosen him to be their new prince almost right after they have beheaded the previous one. Instead of accepting their offer he fled to the Disputed Lands and never returned to Pentos. He had ridden with the Second Sons, the Iron Shields, and the Maiden's Men, but later with five other men he established the Windblown. Out of the six founders of the company, he is the only one alive.[
Questions for Chapter 63 (Victarion) – Chapter 65 (Cersei)(204) So now we have Victarion, on his way to woo Daenerys, busy taking over ships, killing slavers, freeing slaves (sort of), burning innocent girls, cutting out tongues and throwing people overboard to the Drowned God. A real likable fella! What has Moqorro done to his arm? He seems to have superhuman strength now. Does Moqorro really see victory for Victarion, or is he just saying that for self-preservation?
(205) Who is the Other god that must not be named? I can’t help but think of Lord Voldemort every time I read this.
(206) Ah-ha, the horn turns up again! No one can blow Dragonbinder and survive. What will Victarion do with it? And does it bother anyone else that it takes 1000 pages to find out what happened the last time someone blew the horn?
(207) I just have to reiterate how I hate the direction that Arya’s story has taken. I am extremely disappointed! That said, she must kill the evil insurance adjuster in order to get her new face. (The walls of faces were pretty gross!) So, why did they give her the new face before she killed him? And are we to understand she killed him with a coin?
(208) I guess one good thing I can find in Arya’s story is that she is not losing her thirst for revenge. She still says the prayer for those she wants dead (just not aloud). Glad the old Arya is still in there somewhere!
(209) Arya is being sent to an apprenticeship…an apprenticeship to do what??
(210) I’m sure we’ve all learned to despise Cersei, but I have to admit that I felt sorry for her during her walk of shame. This was a really great scene, in my opinion. I could smell the filth and feel the slimy food being thrown. Will Cersei be allowed to see her son?
(211) OK, I haven’t looked it up and I can’t remember…are we supposed to know who Robert Strong is? I tell ya, my memory isn’t what it used to be, ladies!
(212) Will Cersei’s champion prevail? The real question is, will we find out in this book?
Lisa Kay’s Questions for Chapter 61 (The Griffen Reborn) – Chapter 62 (The Sacrifice)Lisa Kay, I just have to say I an in awe of your ability to keep up with everything on audio. I find myself having to re-read a LOT, so fist bump to you!
193) Geez! All these battles – past, present, future – to keep track of. Thank goodness for Wiki Ice, which I freely admit I have referred to often for this one; maybe b/c I’m doing it in audiobook form and I don’t have an appendix. Anywayz… A lot of strategic information and war plans in this chapter. Quite a bit of brutality too. Jon Connington, former Hand of the King to Aerys II, comes across more brutal and unfeeling for me than I previously envisioned him. If this dude is “reborn,” then he is a hell of a lot meaner. Especially throwing the maester out of the tower window and not caring about all the deaths of the warriors or prisoners. What do you think? Is all fair in war? Did he actually throw the maester? I thought he just saw it being done. I got the impression he didn't want to kill anyone who surrendered to him. As far as the battle goes, I guess in this world if you're not brutal you lose. Another thing, Connington lost to Robert Baratheon due to his unwillingness to butcher innocent people.
194) Predition? From Wiki Ice:
Greyscale is a disease that can leave flesh stiff and dead and the skin cracked and flaking, mottled black and grey and stone-like to the touch.
Okay, Lisarenee, you got me thinking over your comment about the Greyscale, Val’s comments, and it possible being contagious. I saw this hypothesis on the internet: What if Jon Connington gives Greyscale to Aegon – who turns to “stone” and then can turn into a dragon? Interesting prediction! But, if the princess was contagious, wouldn't her parents or her fool have contracted it? maybe her disease is different, or maybe there are variations of it?
195) We learn that Prince Dorne Martell married Princess Myrcella to his youngest son, Trystane. Think his son will one day be King? I think they are only betrothed.
196) Was Aegon Targaryen naming Ser Rolly Duckfield (AKA Duck/Rolly) Kingsguard as big a mistake as Jon Connington fears? As we’ve seen, loyalty is a pretty important factor. I don't think it's a mistake. You're right about loyalty.
197) Am I confused again? Isn’t The Vale – or Vale of Arryn – ruled by House Arryn (castle known as Eyrie) and therefore NOT neutral? (Espcially if Littlefinger rules the roost?) Why does Jon Connington dismiss it so lightly? The Eyrie has kept out of the battles, hasn't it?
198) Is there a possibly Dany will marry Aegon? I hope not.
199) I couldn’t really blame Aegon for wanting to be in the battle, and can see this boosting the morale of his men. You? Yes, it's in his blood I suppose.
200) BTW, what was all that about Aegon’s eye color being paler than Rhaegar's? Oh, no! Paternity question?
201) Yikes! Asha Greyjoy is about to be sacrificed to R’hllor to stop the snow and the howling winds. And raped by the brutal sadist Sluggs! Yuck, what a chapter. The sacrifice was a little to descriptive for me. This isn’t a religion, it is a cult. Right? I guess in the context of the novel, it is a religion. But you're right, it was a very brutal scene. I don't think cannibalism is a good thing, but it helped the Donner party and those soccer players who crashed in the Andes. If you're starving and have no choice, and the person is dead, I'm not sure why they boys had to be killed in such a gruesome manner. guess they needed a reason to sacrifice to R'hllor
202) Even if he only wants her lands, I don’t blame Asha for following Ser Justin Massey; then I checked him out on Wiki Ice and he is a Queen’s Man (as in Queen Selyse) and therefore a practitioner to the faith of R’hllor, so that can’t be good, can it? Geez, you don’t know who to trust in this book. Just because someone says they are for the red God doesn't mean they really are.
203) Just in the nick of time, Tycho Nestoris, (a representative of the Iron Bank of Braavos sent to the Wall to negotiate payment of the debt of the Iron Throne with Stannis) shows up with Theon Greyjoy – looking like an old man – and with Jeyne Poole in tow. Did this surprise you? Where are the others who helped in the escape? This was very surprising. I am not sure why he helped them escape. I really loved the Theon/Asha reunion though. I hope Theon is not tormented further, but with his luck he will be sacrificed to R'hllor.
@ Sandy“Lisa Kay, I just have to say I am in awe of your ability to keep up with everything on audio. I find myself having to re-read a LOT, so fist bump to you!”
Sandy, I have had to listen to a few things twice. Ugh! And, I look at Wiki Ice a lot ! Before, I would just “sneak a peek” – now I don’t even try to pretend and lie to myself that I’m just going to take a quick look; I blatantly search. It sucks not having an appendix.
#193 – I was pretty sure he threw him from the tower himself… but I could be wrong.
#194 – I thought it was interesting. I didn’t pick up on the “stone-like” until I read it. Maybe the contagiousness of Greyscale depends on several factors. The stage of the disease, how it is treated, the age of the person, susceptibility of the person who comes in contact with the contagious person, etc.
#195 – I thought the Halfmaester reported to Jon Connington that the marriage was a fait accompli, yet Prince Dorne hadn’t made any further moves.
#197 – Ah! Excellent point. Littlefinger is maintaining a low profile.
#200 – LMAO! Yes, of course. We must keep the “secret-baby” storyline alive. ☺
#201 – All true. However, I think he killed the boys b/c he has homophobia, otherwise he would have burned them – not drowned them. Oh, that and he’s a psycho.
#202 – True again! LOL! I wondered about that.
#203 – Oh, Good Gravy Beans! I hadn’t thought of Theon being sacrificed; you could be right.
Lisa Kay’s Answers to Sandy’s Questions for Chapter 63 (Victarion) – Chapter 65 (Cersei) (204) So now we have Victarion, on his way to woo Daenerys, busy taking over ships, killing slavers, freeing slaves (sort of), burning innocent girls, cutting out tongues and throwing people overboard to the Drowned God. A real likable fella! What has Moqorro done to his arm? He seems to have superhuman strength now. Does Moqorro really see victory for Victarion, or is he just saying that for self-preservation?
Didn’t the captain of the Ghiscari galley just say that Dany was likely dead? Geez. Charming, dude. And intelligent too. And I know he’s Lisarenee’s favorite, ever since he beat his wife to death for being raped by Euron. Yeah, you are probably right, Moqorro did something to Victarion’s arm (why didn’t I think of that?).
(205) Who is the Other god that must not be named? I can’t help but think of Lord Voldemort every time I read this.
LOL! (Voldemort) Me too. ☺ This dude is thinking he has all the gods on his side. Maybe Moqorro did something to his brain too. Read this on the internet, so consider that when questioning it’s accuracy: (view spoiler)
(206) Ah-ha, the horn turns up again! No one can blow Dragonbinder and survive. What will Victarion do with it? And does it bother anyone else that it takes 1000 pages to find out what happened the last time someone blew the horn?
Looks like Euron set him up, giving him that horn. I hope the psycho blows it, but he’ll probably force someone else to do it instead. Unless Moqorro’s “claiming it with blood” idea works. Which makes me very suspicious of Moqorro; what are his plans? Yeah, I’m definitely not happy with this book, nor its length.
Yeah, it was all pretty gross. You make an excellent point, Sandy; why did they give her the face when they said she had to earn it - by killing someone, which they give her the face to do. Yes, she poisoned the coin, did a switcheroo with one of the merchant's coins, and then the insurance guy (who always bites his coins) dies. Nothing original here, as she did the coin trick before with the guard way back when, but the switch is new.
(208) I guess one good thing I can find in Arya’s story is that she is not losing her thirst for revenge. She still says the prayer for those she wants dead (just not aloud). Glad the old Arya is still in there somewhere!
Yeah, she can’t kill anyone she knows according to them, so I’m glad she is hanging on to this. Interesting, because, while I found her list humorous, b/f I wanted her to let go of this need for revenge - as a sign of growth; now I want her to hang on to it b/c by doing so she retains some of the old Arya. GRRM has a way of twisting and testing my beliefs.
(209) Arya is being sent to an apprenticeship…an apprenticeship to do what??
**shrugs** I have heard (since way back in book #1) that (view spoiler) I don’t know if that is true or not.
(210) I’m sure we’ve all learned to despise Cersei, but I have to admit that I felt sorry for her during her walk of shame. This was a really great scene, in my opinion. I could smell the filth and feel the slimy food being thrown. Will Cersei be allowed to see her son?
Yeah, as much as I dislike Cersei, I did start feeling sorry for her back in AFfC. Still, she made this mess herself. I do hope they let her see her son.
(211) OK, I haven’t looked it up and I can’t remember…are we supposed to know who Robert Strong is? I tell ya, my memory isn’t what it used to be, ladies!
Mine either! I’ve been looking things up in Wiki Ice and going, “Oh, yeah. Forgot that.” There are just too many frigging characters. I’ll never complain about a book having too few again. (I always thought it was unrealistic.)
(212) Will Cersei’s champion prevail? The real question is, will we find out in this book?
I doubt it. My theory - from way back in AFfC - is that it is (view spoiler) However, I don't think that visor will be lifted in this book. Drat, GRRM!
Finished it. Phew! Now I'm going to listen to
for a second time. Hard to believe that a book with so many f-bombs will be a palate cleanser for this one.
I fell asleep reading last night. I read up to the Arya chapter. I'm taking my son to a Vetran's day parade my son is in so I won't be posting anything for a while.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Finished it. Phew! Now I'm going to listen to

@LisaKay#201 - He's a psycho. LOL so very true!
#212 - **Slaps forehead** Of COURSE! I'm sure you are right!! It has to be him.
Lisa Kay, you finished ADWD? I have 3 chapters left. Just read Jon's chapter on the bus this morning and felt ill...
Yeah. I push on through, Sandy; I wanted to be finished. This one was way beyond the razor's edge for me.
Well, congrats on finishing! I will finish today.GRRM really likes to torture his characters and leave a lot of questions unanswered! Also, he could use a good editor.
True on all counts, Sandy. I can't figure out why it wasn't better edited. That was the real mystery. Was a bit of ego involved here? Or fear of offending GRRM?
I think this happens to many popular authors. (Stephen King and Anne Rice come to mind.) I have no idea why...but perhaps you are right about ego and giving the author more say as he or she becomes a top-seller.
I wondered. I've added some pictures of her painting in some of my reviews. She does a lot of woman and child pics.Young Mother Sewing, by Mary Cassatt
Well, I am finished.I can't believe there are so many questions left unanswered. By the time the next book is published, I will have forgotten what the questions are!
(view spoiler). The last two books were edited very poorly. I hope the next one at least gets a cursory review by someone with an eye toward plot structure.
Yeah, Victorian's a real catch. NOT! The arm is making me wonder what happened to it. I don't know what to think about Moqorro's predictions, but since he can see the future it would be clever of him to tell Victorian what he wants to hear until he can be safely rid of him.
(205) Who is the Other god that must not be named? I can’t help but think of Lord Voldemort every time I read this.
I keep wondering that as well. Like the Voldemort comparison. I'm thinking since the main god is of light it must be the dark god? Maybe the devil?
(206) Ah-ha, the horn turns up again! No one can blow Dragonbinder and survive. What will Victarion do with it? And does it bother anyone else that it takes 1000 pages to find out what happened the last time someone blew the horn?
Is this a different horn or the same one everyone has been talking about and, if so, can there be more than one? The original one had nothing to do with dragons. At least they were never mentioned. Sounded like this one would be used to bind a dragon to its rider.
I agree the wall of faces was pretty gruesome. Why did they come with memories? I kept thinking of the movie face off. I also don't like where Arya's story is heading.
(208) I guess one good thing I can find in Arya’s story is that she is not losing her thirst for revenge. She still says the prayer for those she wants dead (just not aloud). Glad the old Arya is still in there somewhere!
She may end up having an important part in overthrowing someone.
(209) Arya is being sent to an apprenticeship…an apprenticeship to do what??
No idea, but she'll have a pretty face?
(210) I’m sure we’ve all learned to despise Cersei, but I have to admit that I felt sorry for her during her walk of shame. This was a really great scene, in my opinion. I could smell the filth and feel the slimy food being thrown. Will Cersei be allowed to see her son?
I wondered the same thing. I did feel sorry for Cersei for the first time.
(211) OK, I haven’t looked it up and I can’t remember…are we supposed to know who Robert Strong is? I tell ya, my memory isn’t what it used to be, ladies!
I wondered the same thing.
(212) Will Cersei’s champion prevail? The real question is, will we find out in this book?
Probably not and who will it be?
Still reading.Lisa Kay, This might give you a chuckle. I've been listening to Retribution by Sherrilyn Kenyon in the car. Today it turned on while I was taking my son to the vetran's day parade. The guy in the book started cussing and I immediately turned it off and my son said, "Well that got a little colorful. Is that book on dad's approved list of reading materials?"
All I could think of is thank goodness I wasn't listening to the audio version of Sh*t My Dad Says. lol
@ Lisarenee#204 – Yeah, Victarion, the psycho, is not the sharpest tool in the shed, so I would think he is easily manipulated by Moqorro. He needs someone to lead him around by his nose.
205 – Hmmmm. Maybe.
#206 – I don’t know, but I think there is more than one horn.
#207 & 208 – Yeah, Arya’s story is taking an unpleasant turn. Speculation on the internet (view spoiler)
Lisarenee wrote: "Well that got a little colorful. Is that book on dad's approved list of reading materials?"Cute! How old is he again?
Reading Epilogue and had to stop for a while to take everything in. Gah! I can't believe all that has happened.
Okay, Sandy & Lisarenee. I'm doing a cover challenge and I'm trying to figure out what to call this thing of the cover. Is it a shield? Some type of brooch, or belt ornament?
Chapter 66 - EpilogueI think we are all glad we are done with this book and read the last of the series so far.
212) How can Brown Ben Plum believe he'd get a castle?
213) If Cersei has no power would her declaration to make someone a lord for Tyrion's head be upheld?
214) Were you surprised Tyrion slapped Penny?
215) Surprised by Ser Barristan? Did you think he'd go after the King?
216) Well my prediction for Quentyn was correct, but not at all the way I expected. I thought the tattered King would betray and kill him.
217) Did I read right? Were all the hostages killed?
218) Will all that happened help strengthen Dany to be a better Queen when she finds out what happened or will it kill her?
219) Hizdahr showed he believes in slavery. Yep, that was a bed slave.
220) Who was the little boy running around the King's room? Could he have a son?
221) Ser Barristan's still got it. How old is he?
222) So we know Quentyn really wants to marry one of his friend's sisters. What the heck was the idiot doing?
223) Didn't like all the carnage involved, but the dragons were cool.
224) Jon! OMG! Could he have survived and what about ghost? Will Melisandre be able to save him? Will they use the method they did on Catelyn? WHY!!!
225) Do you believe everything Ramsay stated in his letter? Could he have Mace? Could Mace and his ladies have been the ones who helped whisk the fake Arya away from the castle? I didn't even think of that.
226) What side is the Green Grace on and who exactly is she?
227) Dany is safe, at least it sounded like it. Don't think anyone would attempt to cross the woman eating beside her dragon. That would be insane.
226) A little graphic with the blood there. Does this signify something? Really should have tagged all those predictions especially the one stating she wouldn't have children until something happened. Could there be a loop hole?
227) "somewhere in the distance a wolf howled..." Could this have something to do with Jon being attacked?
228) Just the ramblings of Dany's mind playing tricks on her or was there some good advice in those dreams/hallucinations of hers?
229) Dear Goodness Kevan. Didn't want to see him bite the big one. Could he have brought peace to the realm?
230) Who is Robert Strong? Could it be Gregor Clegane come back to life?
231) Varys is back. He had something to do with those children at the Inn.
232) What thing are we still waiting to find out???
1) What the heck was the key for? Did Varys steal it?
2) Where is the horn the Wildings wanted and what exactly does it do?
3) What happened to Jaime? Another of Vary's plots?
4) What exactly happened to Rickon?
5) What happened to Davos?
Lisa Kay’s Answers to Lisarenee’s Questions for Chapter 66 (Tyrion) – Epilogue I think we are all glad we are done with this book and read the last of the series so far.
Definitely!
212) How can Brown Ben Plum believe he'd get a castle?
Well, he does claim to have a drop of Targaryen blood, LOL! How did Tyrion convince all of them that he can come through with all that? I mean, I know he’s good, but damn.
213) If Cersei has no power would her declaration to make someone a lord for Tyrion's head be upheld?
I wouldn’t think so.
214) Were you surprised Tyrion slapped Penny?
Yes and no. He wanted her to snap out of it, but it held shades of his cruelty at the beginning of the book when he chocked that slave (Was it a washerwoman? I can’t remember.) Also, Tyrion is coming from a place of an aristocrat who never went hungry before this; plus, for a man of words (and some of the best ones in the first three books), it seems as if he could have handled this differently.
215) Surprised by Ser Barristan? Did you think he'd go after the King?
I thought he confront him.
216) Well my prediction for Quentyn was correct, but not at all the way I expected. I thought the tattered King would betray and kill him.
You called that one, Lisarenee. I was totally surprised that happened. Well, I knew it would happen when he made the fateful decision to steal the dragons, but not before then.
217) Did I read right? Were all the hostages killed?
I thought so too… but one theory on the internet is that the bodies thrown into the city are plague corpses.
218) Will all that happened help strengthen Dany to be a better Queen when she finds out what happened or will it kill her?
It will make her stronger, and a better Queen.
219) Hizdahr showed he believes in slavery. Yep, that was a bed slave.
Yep.
220) Who was the little boy running around the King's room? Could he have a son?
Maybe. Oh, my goodness; I just came back to this answer… what if he is one of Varys’s “little birds”? Is that possible?
221) Ser Barristan's still got it. How old is he?
He’s still got it. ☺ According to Wiki Ice “The final chapters of A Dance with Dragons take place during 301.” (the direwolves were born in 298). Ser Barristan was born 237, so that makes him about 64.
222) So we know Quentyn really wants to marry one of his friend's sisters. What the heck was the idiot doing?
Trying to make his father proud?
223) Didn't like all the carnage involved, but the dragons were cool.
They were!
224) Jon! OMG! Could he have survived and what about Ghost? Will Melisandre be able to save him? Will they use the method they did on Catelyn? WHY!!!
I don’t know. I was really disappointed that GRRM recycled the whole “lock up the direwolf” plot devise. I hope Melisandre, like Thoros of Myr resurrected Beric Dondarrion (Lord of Blackhaven), maybe she can bring him back. Especially if she thinks he might be Azor Ahai reborn or The Prince Who was Promised or both? Or he’ll be permanently warged into Ghost, like the guy in the prologue. Possibly he’ll come back as an Other, LOL!
225) Do you believe everything Ramsay stated in his letter? Could he have Mace? Could Mance and his ladies have been the ones who helped whisk the fake Arya away from the castle? I didn't even think of that.
Nope. It probably wasn’t 100% bullsh!t, but it mostly was. Yes, it was Mance Rayder. Don’t know if he is now a captive at Winterfell, but I’m guess he is.
226) What side is the Green Grace on and who exactly is she?
Beats me. I think GRRM wants to lull us into liking her, but it didn’t fool me. For all her voice of “peace and tolerance,” she is still leans toward tradition and is the one who suggested Dany marry Hizdahr zo Loraq. **blows raspberry**
227) Dany is safe, at least it sounded like it. Don't think anyone would attempt to cross the woman eating beside her dragon. That would be insane.
Yeah, GRRM threw us a bone and wants to give us hope here.
226) A little graphic with the blood there. Does this signify something? Really should have tagged all those predictions especially the one stating she wouldn't have children until something happened. Could there be a loop hole?
Yes, pretty bloody; I think she miscarried, which proves she is still fertile. Or, knowing GRRM, maybe just showing that she can never bear a living child. I wish we had tagged all of prophesies too. I know we tagged one.
227) “somewhere in the distance a wolf howled...” Could this have something to do with Jon being attacked?
Yup.
228) Just the ramblings of Dany's mind playing tricks on her or was there some good advice in those dreams/hallucinations of hers?
A lot of guilt and internal conflict going on here. Is Good Queen Daenerys gone and replaced by a more violent Dany? I really should re-listen to this chapter as GRRM hid so many things in here, making it one of the best chapters of the book.
229) Dear Goodness Kevan. Didn't want to see him bite the big one. Could he have brought peace to the realm?
Me neither. Total surprise here. Yeah, I think that is why he was killed, b/c he could have cleaned up Cersei’s mess a bit.
230) Who is Robert Strong? Could it be Gregor Clegane come back to life?
Yes!
231) Varys is back. He had something to do with those children at the Inn.
He is back Big Time. Those are his “little birds.”
232) What thing are we still waiting to find out???
1) What the heck was the key for? Did Varys steal it?And probably tons more unanswered questions, but I’m too tired to think now.
2) Where is the horn the Wildings wanted and what exactly does it do?
3) What happened to Jaime? Another of Vary's plots?
4) What exactly happened to Rickon?
5) What happened to Davos?
All of your questions, Lisarenee, plus:
6) Who are Jon Snow’s parents. What is his destiny, if he lives?
7) Which way will Dany rule? With the all three dragons? Who really poisoned her? Will she abolish slavery?
8) What will happen to Arya; will she become an assassin? If so, who will they assign her to kill? (It is sure to be a dilemma for her.) Will she reconnect with Nymeria?
9) Will Bran ever fly a dragon? Or maybe warg into one?
10) What of Sansa? Is her marriage to Tyrion valid? Will he find Tansy?
11) What is Littlefinger’s connection to Varys’ machinations?
12) Where the hell is Benjen Stark?
13) What happening with the Others? When will they attack?
Lisa Kay said, "Who are Jon Snow’s parents. What is his destiny, if he lives?"That was something I forgot to mention. They talked about some woman throwing herself off a tower because her child died. Could that have been the woman they originally tried to make look like Jon's mother? There are just too many characters and too much distance between hints.
She also said/asked, "Maybe. Oh, my goodness; I just came back to this answer… what if he is one of Varys’s “little birds”? Is that possible?
Didn't they say Varys came from the other side of the pond from Westeros, so to speak, so I do believe he has "birds" (eyes and ears) everywhere.
Lisa Kay said, "And probably tons more unanswered questions, but I’m too tired to think now."
Same here. I went to sleep shortly after writing all my questions knowing I'd have more. Hopefully together we can create a little cheat sheet in case 6 years from now we want to read the next book when it comes out. lol
14) Will Tyrion ever ride a dragon?
15) What happened to Sam and his girl?
BTW, I still say Tansy is the owner of the one brothel.
16) Could we see Robert Stark come back as a Warg in someone else's body?
17) What happened to Eddard's Bones?
18) What happened to Catelyn after she was brought back, and what have her band of merry men been up to?
19) What happened to Theon and why does Ramsay care if he gets him back? Also, what about the fake Arya?
Oooha, good questions, Lisarenee. Yeah, I don't know why Ramsay wants Theon back either. Is he a gain politically, thought broken mentally?
Lisarenee wrote: "I'd guess it's a shield although for a second I wondered if it could be a button."I think it looks like a shield, too.
I think we are all glad we are done with this book and read the last of the series so far.I am glad...these books take a lot out of me.
I do want answers though!
212) How can Brown Ben Plum believe he'd get a castle? How does Tyrion believe he'll get Lannister money?
213) If Cersei has no power would her declaration to make someone a lord for Tyrion's head be upheld? I suppose if Kevan and/or Tommen declared it so.
214) Were you surprised Tyrion slapped Penny? Not really, he's trying to make her face reality.
215) Surprised by Ser Barristan? Did you think he'd go after the King? I think he would do whatever it takes to protect Dany and those she holds precious.
216) Well my prediction for Quentyn was correct, but not at all the way I expected. I thought the tattered King would betray and kill him. I know, I thought the dragon idea was very stupid, but I thought enlisting the Tattered King's help in general was a relatively bright idea.
217) Did I read right? Were all the hostages killed? I didn't think so, but could be.
218) Will all that happened help strengthen Dany to be a better Queen when she finds out what happened or will it kill her? I think it will make her stronger. Thus far, her trials have made her stronger, however she went through a dumb period there for awhile!
219) Hizdahr showed he believes in slavery. Yep, that was a bed slave. Yep, never trusted him.
220) Who was the little boy running around the King's room? Could he have a son?
I thought it was one of the pages/hostages.
221) Ser Barristan's still got it. How old is he? In his 60s I think.
222) So we know Quentyn really wants to marry one of his friend's sisters. What the heck was the idiot doing? His duty to his father and realm.
223) Didn't like all the carnage involved, but the dragons were cool. Agree on both counts.
224) Jon! OMG! Could he have survived and what about ghost? Will Melisandre be able to save him? Will they use the method they did on Catelyn? WHY!!! I absolutely hated what they did to Jon! BUT, I don't think GRRM would bring him this far just to kill him. I think he will survive the stabbings. I HOPE Melisandre has nothing to do with it. I don't want a "Pet Semetary" Jon.
225) Do you believe everything Ramsay stated in his letter? Could he have Mace? Could Mace and his ladies have been the ones who helped whisk the fake Arya away from the castle? I didn't even think of that. So Mace was the "Braavosi banker?" I like that thought. I think there were elements of truth but who really knows??
226) What side is the Green Grace on and who exactly is she? I think she is anti-Dany.
227) Dany is safe, at least it sounded like it. Don't think anyone would attempt to cross the woman eating beside her dragon. That would be insane. We'll see how the Khal treats her. I'm afraid he will send her off to where former Khaleesis grow old and die. She'll need her dragon power for sure.
226) A little graphic with the blood there. Does this signify something? Really should have tagged all those predictions especially the one stating she wouldn't have children until something happened. Could there be a loop hole? I got the impression she was having a miscarriage.
227) "somewhere in the distance a wolf howled..." Could this have something to do with Jon being attacked? Sure it could!
228) Just the ramblings of Dany's mind playing tricks on her or was there some good advice in those dreams/hallucinations of hers? Maybe her subconscious was talking to her?
229) Dear Goodness Kevan. Didn't want to see him bite the big one. Could he have brought peace to the realm? I don't think he was King material. Surprised he was killed, though.
230) Who is Robert Strong? Could it be Gregor Clegane come back to life? That's what I think.
231) Varys is back. He had something to do with those children at the Inn. Which children at what inn?
2) What thing are we still waiting to find out???
1) What the heck was the key for? Did Varys steal it?
2) Where is the horn the Wildings wanted and what exactly does it do?
3) What happened to Jaime? Another of Vary's plots?
4) What exactly happened to Rickon?
5) What happened to Davos?
Is Brienne tricking Jaime?
Will Theon and Asha be released from Stannis' hold?
Is Stannis alive?
Where is Arya going?
Is Bran turning into a tree?
What is Catelyn up to?
Will Tyrion return to King's Landing and escape punishment?
Will Margaery Tyrell be executed?
Will Myrcella marry the Dornish prince?
Will Aegon reclaim the kingdom?
Will Dany forgive Jorah?
What is Bronn doing?
I'm sure there's more!
