AJ Really? I'll have to check it out. Although I don't really think you can compare them because in Alexander's case it seriously was life and death that he was dealing with in protecting Tatiana. Christian is just obsessive (and we love him for it!!!)

Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Book 1 Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon AMAZINGGGGGG SERIES. PNR with a different couple in each book but couples from past books are still features in most books (so their stories continue past just one book) and she has several storyarc that build throughout the series. Important to read in order.

Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. Book 1 Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost Probably more like Fever since it follows the same couple for the whole series... Bones is... H.O.T.

Berenice flores i loved the half way to the grave! now i'm on the third one! i'll check out the dark hunter! thanks for the recommendations.

Aestas Book Blog anytime :) I hope you love them!

Rose Well i've just got done with Fifty Shades Freed- My Fifty Shades journey is officially over! :-( Loved it!

@Berenice, i didn't like how the characters changed in the next book of the BDB series either-at first. But the series is definitely worth giving a go, all the characters star as it get's further into it.

@Aestas, Great recommendations! I loved the Night Huntress series too :-)

Struggling to find another fab series :-(

AJ OMG that's such exciting news! Can't imagine where she's going to take the story from where book 3 finished off.

Kagama-the Literaturevixen I think she should just have ended it there.

Three is a nice even number and you shouldnt mess with a happy ending. She should write a new book instead.

Carrie (Loving Evan Matthews) Ayd I'm torn with the idea of a Book 4. I would like to know what it's like for them in the new house with them living as a family, but on the same token, I want the HEA to be just that.

Aestas Book Blog Carrie wrote: "I'm torn with the idea of a Book 4. I would like to know what it's like for them in the new house with them living as a family, but on the same token, I want the HEA to be just that."

hmmmmm I too would be very wary of a 4th instalment. I liked where the last one ended.

BUT, I actually think it is a misprint. I know that Ms. James is working on her next book, which has absolutely nothing to do with Fifty Shades (might even be paranormal or something? I don't remember) but that could very well be what they were referring to. You know how newspapers etc are, 80% of what they publish is crap. I think this was just a misunderstanding. If she was planning on writing book 4, she'd have posted that news somewhere else first.

Kagama-the Literaturevixen Carrie wrote: "I'm torn with the idea of a Book 4. I would like to know what it's like for them in the new house with them living as a family, but on the same token, I want the HEA to be just that."

Precisely , a story needs a conflict. Or else its just going to be a story about "look how happy we are"

And that couldnt carry a whole book.

I was actually surprised that the author decided to make Christian a father. In my opinion he wasnt ready for it and I could understand why he got so angry at Ana for it. He was scared.

I suppose the 4th book could be about Christian having problems with being a parent. But why then have the HEA at the end of the last book?

That seemed pretty final.

Maybe you are right,it could be that way. But some people want more of the same stuff.

I would rather see something new from her :)

Denise Love the e-mail exchanges and Ana's subconscious.

Ghada I LOVE IT , i ADORE IT, THE BEST BOOKS EVER

Margo Yeah I have to agree. Fifty Shades books are definitively in mine pile of "the best books ever"

Carrie (Loving Evan Matthews) Ayd Margo wrote: "Yeah I have to agree. Fifty Shades books are definitively in mine pile of "the best books ever""

Same with me Margo. I have books 1 and 2 in print and people have often asked me if they could borrow them and I dont have the nerve to let them. I can't let them get bent up, twisted or torn. I need them safe on my bookshelf

Celestine I too loved the email exchange! All 3 books were fantastic reads and I am going back and reading them again. I especially liked that in book 3 we get to read about what Christian was thinking, seeing, feeling when he first met Ana.

message 74: by Jenn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jenn O'Brien I think the e-mails are my favorite part of these books. I love the banter between the two of them and the teasing.

Carrie (Loving Evan Matthews) Ayd I did too Jenn. I made a Fifty Shades ipod playlist as well. I love everything about this series

Julie Gallinger SHOUTY CAPITALS and Twitchy Palms are some of the best exchanges with Ana and Christian. Their text & email bantering were LOL funny! So sad that I finished reading the series...In any case, Laters!!

Ghada I LOVED THE BOOKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH.

LATERS BABY

message 80: by Amy (new)

Amy I read all three books over the past week, and although the third book left me wanting something more, I have to give it up to the first two books in this new series that sheds more light on the often misunderstood genre that is Erotica!!!

A friend recommended The Sleeping Beauty series by A. N. Roquelaure (better known as Anne Rice). It is dated in that they are about Sleeping Beauty, but there is action from the get go (I was a little stunned).

Lavonna i loved these books, i loved the SHOUTY CAPITALS and i loved the emails. the subjects and signatures were just awesome, i really did enjoy these i devoured them too quickly.

Anita SHOUTY CAPITALS, the email exchanges, laters baby ( a real favourite) and pithy comments - so believable you can almost think you are doing it!

Pamela I guess I am the only one who did not like the emails. I always thought, so
You guys can't text. Idk. I loved the 2nd book though. On to the 3rd

Lelyana's Reviews Love the emails between them..make the story fresh

Jackie I love the emails between Ana and Christian!

Lea Ann I thought the emails were really cute. I met my husband online, so it reminded me of some of our old emails.
