Kim I'm feeling kind of strange. This is the first time, I think, since I joined GR that I don't have a book I'm currently reading.

Kim Ok so I slipped in the short horror story Cupid's Maze. I had to, it's Halloween

Philippa | 100 comments Haha that was short and quick!

Although Kim, I think it's most definately safe to say. You have a book problem.

Kim Hahaha I do! Too many books and not enough time.

Haha, I think we all have that problem. My TBR is now twice the number of books I challenged myself to read this year. And it keeps growing. I think books add themselves to it when I'm not looking you know.

Janice (janaz28) I feel the same, I keep adding books I hear people talking about to my TBR list but in general I don´t have that much time left to read other books than for school...I reallly need to work on that problem!

Wendy Barlow | 97 comments I'm the same. Just keep ordering books that people on hear mention and now my TBR list is huge. I can't even remember what there. It doesn't help that i'm going through one of those times when I just can't seem to concentrate.

Marlene (marlene1001) | 289 comments Same problem over here. My list keeps growing and growing - the last time my mother asked for it to see which books she might get for me (you know, christmas, etc.) she almost fainted.

Do you sometimes have the urge to go to a book shop and order all the books from your list just to see the face of the salesman? Just a question which popped into my mind...

Anyway, every time I´m at a books shop (which is every time I have an hour free in school - which is OFTEN) I find a new book I´d like to read.

Isn´t there a cure or something?!
But it´s nice to know Im not alone. :D

Philippa | 100 comments I'm reminded actually of an interview I saw recently with a British "TV Personality" if you like. They were asking her about turning 40 and if she was worried about it. To which she said No, for when you're younger you're often worried or obsessed with all the things you haven't done including the books you feel you ought to read or want to read but haven't yet been able to. With turning 40, she felt much less pressure from the things as yet unachieved.

I think she has a point though. I often sit there and think that there are so many things I should have read and that I haven't yet means my literary experiences have been far too limited. But then I am only 20. When was I meant to have fitted in reading all these classics or great works of fiction? Anyway, I think that's how I'm going to try and console myself when I'm feeling my reading experiences are insufficient.

In other news... I finished my 8th book for October with a whole hour to spare. YAY :)
