I just don't get it, I mean if you don't like a book , why do you have to HATE it? I mean in an active way like create discussions about how much you hate that?... Let me tell you something, I personaly don't like Harry Potter's books, that fantasy is not my kind of literature, but JK Rowling is a genius, requires a lot of talent to create a universe like that, I would be stupid if I didn't notice, but just beacuse I don't like her books I am not gonna make haters groups about it and discredit her work

She was a little biased, but speaking of that form of bias in comparison to people who are gay is both uncalled for and entirely unrelated.

That's a good question. I do see the relief of letting it out, but I usually just write a review and let it be. I'd like to know too, why actively participate?
I mean, it's not exactly like being in a fan group, instead of feeding off of each others excitement, enthusiasm, and love, you are feeding off of each other's dark humor, sarcasm, and hate. Do you know what I mean?

i think it is funny. it really makes me laugh that they hate it, but by joining the group it is showing how much they care. i mean they are going through all this effort, so they must care a bit. i also think that most "haters" just want to be the odd one out, you know? like they don't follow trends or whatever. but many of my friends read twilight before a movie was even a possibility, and i think most twihards (or whatever they are called) are obsessed with the actors more than the book.

I don't recall Tayla or Manuel ever saying that you did not have the right to believe what you want or do what you want. They just gave their opinion, of which they have the right to express too.
Whether or not their opinion is popular with you, or yours with them, does not mean we are trying to strip you of your right to speak. The very fact that we are having this conversation means you have and are being given your opportunity to. :)
Hello. I am Nightshade. A few of you know I used to be an avid Twilighter. Currently, though, I would fall under the category of "Hater."HOWEVER, before you shoot me, I'd just like to say- I'm purposely STAYING in this Lovers group. Personally, I think it's cool to be able to hear all these different opinions on Twilight, and be able to add my own into the mix, too. No worries, I haven't COMPLETELY abandoned Twilight- I still like it. Kinda... sorta... not really. (Sorry.)
So please listen BEFORE you shoot, 'cause I'd like to be able to stay in here without being screamed at for being a sort-of-hater. :)

Most of us won't scream at you for disliking Twilight, as you seem to imply many times in your comment. Not all of us are irrational, you know?

I love Twilight. All 4 books are fantastic. I can't believe there is a group out there that hate twilight wtf? Are they crazy? They must be. Stephenie Meyer is a great writer. I read the books before the movies came out so Ive been a fan since the start.They have to be 100% CRAZY!
Just because they don't like the book, doesn't meant they're crazy. They probably just found it didn't suit them, while it suited us, you know?
Yes I know what your saying. I'm just a major fan lol.I don't agree with the haters group going as far as making a group about hateing Twilight thats abit much, but then again they do have the right to express there feelings toward the books.

Just to set this straight I'm not a hater I'm not really a lover either for that matter I'm Ambizzle I do like the books a lot but I accept that it sucks in many ways

I find it strange how Twilight haters know all the character's names and why exactly do they discuss who their favourite character's are?. They're supposed to hate Twilight but they can't even do that properly...
I think it's hilarious they're just as devoted to the books just in a different way.

I've heard all of its flaws—almost everyone I know in real life hates Twilight—but I inevitably believe the positives make up for the weaknesses. I'm not a fan because I'm somehow misinformed or oblivious, as some people seem to believe. I'm a fan because I know what's wrong with it, but despite it's flaws, I genuinely enjoy reading it. It's all about perception, really.

I sort of see where she's coming from, but that's not the assumption I'd come to. I think she was talking about how haters care, as in, not exactly "liking" the books but more as haters care in the way that they concern themselves with the books even though they hate them. We can care about things we don't like.

I think it is a little insane. I also hate when people complain about hating it but read all 4 books than complain. I mean the books are huge if you really don't like it than why waster your time. If I don't like something I am not going to continue to read it and than complain; I don't have that much time on my hands.If they hate it based on the movies then they should pick up the books because they are AH-Mazing!
They should learn how to find a GOOD book and learn how to read it!!!!!! Twilight is the best book ever!!!
