hi im Rachel and im new to this group. have never done a challenge but im totally addicted with romance books.

Hi, I'm Ella. I was a bit of a book snob until a couple of years ago. A friend insisted I read a romance novel(a favorite of hers) and I got hooked right away. Never knew what I was missing. My problem is that I tend to stick with the authors I like, and now I get frustrated waiting for their books to be released. I joined because I want to discover new authors, new books, new series.

I was exactly like you - I had a couple of go to authors and didn't branch out from there! Get burned a few times and you get scared. Then I met some people online and started branching out, haven't looked back since! (I even keep track of new to me authors and read at least several every month!)
Find some people who seem to like what you do and then check out what other books they like! There are some people I know that have such similar tastes that if they liked it, I just know I will too!

Hey all! I'm Jonel from a mid-sized town just outside of Toronto, Ontario & I run Pure Jonel. It is a book blog with lots of Indie content, although not strictly so. I've been told that it's both author and reader friendly.I enjoy reading & reviewing a bit of everything that isn't of the horror/slasher genre. What kind of romance book is awesome to read?

And if you are talking about me, it varies from one day to the next! It depends on your mood and what is going on around you. Sometimes you want to sink into a deeply emotional read and others you want to escape into something light and funny.
I guess the best answer is a story that has characters you fall in love with and can relate to. One that has a a believable storyline that takes you on a wonderful journey. And of course, it has to have a wonderful ending!
If you want a more specific answer, you would need to tell us what sort of books you like. ; ) This group is great at sharing recommendations - we love to enable other reading addicts! Or just poke around in some of the challenges - they are a great place to find new books! (Often too many of them!)
How about Bloodlust? Or The goddess test?
Bloodlust by Larissa Ione? And The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter?I'm not familiar with either of those, but I have read others by Larissa Ione and loved them. If you haven't read her Demonica series starting with Pleasure Unbound I highly recommend it! Good guys who aren't so good, bad guys that aren't bad - makes you think, in a good way!

Hey all, my name is Jean and I love to read pretty much everything but I love Romance novels. The steamier the better as long as they have a good story to sop up all the steam.
Welcome Leah and Jean! We all love romance here even if we read other genres as well :)Leah - you can definitely use books you read earlier in the current year for the Annual Challenges :) And they do not have to be romance - they can be any genre.
The challenges will note if there are restrictions on genre, but generally we are all just happy if you find a book that fits and you want to read it ;)
HI! *waves*I'm Erin, I obviously love to read. I don't really have much to say, other than I tend to attract myself to romance novels like a moth to a flame. I'm looking for those books that stay with you long after you read them. I feel myself reading the same books over and over, just with different characters. I crave the stories that jump into you and burrow themselves inside. I'm looking for more of those books so if you find one, please pass it along! :)

Welcome Erin! In my experience, those burrowing books are pretty individual to the reader's taste and not a 'dime a dozen'. I'm sure we'll all have a few suggestions so I hope some of them work :)

Welcome to the group Arela! Jump in on any of the buddy reads and most of the current challenges are fine to get into at any time. The Pick It For Me has closed for April, as has the 2 month Meet n Greet challenge, but all the others can be joined at any time. Just make sure you read all the rules at the beginning of each challenge :)

well HI! I'm Omar. you can say I'm addicted to reading, when I finish a book I immediately start the next and I read on my phone so I pretty much read anywhere (mostly in boring lectures) and yeah I almost forgot, I'm in the faculty of engineering in Alexandria/Egypt. My favorite genre in books ,by far, is romance. I LOVE a good romance book and I also enjoy reading any book based on Greek mythology.
Welcome Omar! Great to have you here :) There are a LOT of similar reading addicts here in this group. Whilst I try to avoid reading on my phone, my eReader is always in my bag each and every day. You never know when your next reading opportunity will pop up ;)

Hellooo, hellooo fellow romance readers. I am so addicted to these dang books, and I go through them like water. I keep looking for longer and longer books so I can savor it for a while. Mother, wife, author, artist, avid reader. I actually ended up writing a book because I read them too fast. My writing kept me occupied for a bit. ;) Always looking for the next book...Time travel, paranormal, historical, contemporary...
