I just noticed that Reamde is now available on Audible for one credit! This is going to take a while as it is comes in a whopping 38 hours and 34 minutes. Definitely getting the time value for this credit.

Glad to see it's available. I'll have to add it to my list to look at later--I've got some other stuff in mind for now. But thanks for the tip!

No prob. Thanks for the tip; I just got this with perfect timing as I start commuting to my university and subsequently have less time for paper/e-ink reading.
I got all huffy when I found I couldn't buy the audible book in Can'tada. Two days later it's available ... Yeah!
Warning! The narrator is really good at pacing, but sucks at accents. This book has characters from the America, Russia, Canada, Scotland, Hungary,China, England and the Middle East. I'm nearing the end of the second of five parts and he's really bugging me with the accents. I had forgotten that Jones was described as having a British accent because whatever the narrator is using sounds nothing like British.
I'm almost done with part two as well. The accents don't bother me, but the book isn't thrilling me. I do like the narrator though.
I'm listening to the Reamde audiobook and so far (I'm a little over halfway) I've really enjoyed it, both the story and the narration. With so many nationalities represented, I doubt if anyone could do each one justice. Does Sandi have anyone else in mind who could them all well?
