I still don't like Devlen for marrying Opal in Spy Glass :P I still see him as the villain of the book (I have a very closed mind) haha :P
hate him, dislike him and he's just ... ugh!
Ok, that makes me feel normal again :P because I thought I was the only person who HATEED DEVLEN :P
nono Devlen can dissapear from the books al togheter and i'd only miss him in maybe two or three instances. :P
Devlen was my second favorite besides Valek
I dont really like Devlin! I loved Kade!!!
Yeah I loved kade too but I still like devlen. But valek was my fav
once I finished Spy Glass for the first time I was like" what was opal thinking, she had the most handsome guy that lost his sister too, so she could relate to him, she made up with his mother and know she's just throwing all that away" but once I read it again I realised devlin isn't such a bad guy after all, he helped opal through a lot, so I really don't know
i mean he helped her a lot, but i still cannot forget what he did with the clamps and all...

I think that Devlin could have at most gained opals trust and become her story weaver so then she could stay with kade

I'm still not sure about him. I get that he is reformed and all, but even so.
I loved both Devlen and KadeBut im glad she is with Devlen
I felt bad for Kade. And Devlen doesn't sit well with me. I mean he DID torture her.If you ask me about all the MVS books, I like Kerrick the best. But it's definitely Valek if it's only Chronicles of Ixia series.
I did NOT want to like him. But something about him... I don't know. Kade is lovable, but his moodiness got to me. (still love him!)
Its strange, but having read Shadow Study, I like him a lot more. He is really sweet in that one, and he clearly still adores Opal so...

I think it was because of his addiction to blood magic. And he does seem extremely nice in Shadow Study. I couldn't hate him anymore.

Same here! She's always calling me out of the room while I'm re-reading a book and says 'don't be stuck in your room all day'. My response? 'Blame Maria. V. Snyder.'That's what happened to me while reading shadow study.
My mother is more of the: "You have enought books as it is. Why are you buying even more? You are running out of bookshelf space, maybe it is time to sell some of them off."To which I reply (in my best Darth Vader impression): "NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Followed by my Gollum impression: "I need them. My preciousesss."

ah the freedom of living on your own. I cannot wait till I can afford to move out. But what with spending £8,000 on fees for a masters degree I am stuck at home :(
Ha. I'm definitely away from parental influence. I'm married and we live in our own home. And the Mr knows that when I disappear into my library, he won't see me for a bit and lets me read. Pure bliss! :)
