Neither! Both Edward and Jacob have some serious problems they need to work through before I would even think about dating them. If I thought hard about it though probably Jacob, Edward it far to protective and hmm how do I say this with out offending people? "Old man-ish' he doesn't want Bella to go or do anything even remotely dangerous and I for one couldn't take that.
I would need my freedom away from him as well as to do what I wanted. Like John Green wrote in one of his books " she was cute, but I already had a mom." and that it exactly how I feel about Edward. I don't need a protector I need a friend and a lover that wouldn't hold me back but instead be running right next to me screaming about how fun that was.

I want both. Don't make me choose......

team Edward all the way!!! I NEVER liked Jacob. I thought that he was a pushy, obnoxious prick for the most part. I never really understood Bella's attraction to him. I mean sure, he was tall, tanned and well toned but then Edward was way better. He was still tall enough and super strong and inhumanly beautiful. He would do anything for her and yet she still felt torn between them... really there's no competition. Edward is better.

Jacob because I prefer the happy and warm guy. I hate cold and I dislike pessimists and Edward is both so yeah, just not my type.

I would take Carlisle, Jasper, or even Emmett over Edward or Jacob any day. Even Alice, if I were so inclined! haha

I would choose Jacob for many reasons.
1. Edward is completely controlling in my opinion. I hate that Bella always feels the need to ask for permission to do things. Edward is not her mother nor her father. It just seems ridiculous.
2. Jacob is more my style. I'm not a fan of guys that are prim and proper. Edward is clean cut and I like "men." Edward just doesn't seem manly. Jacob is rugged and even though he has a boyish charm, he is more of a man. I mean, what's so manly about a guy that sparkles?
3. Jacob is playful. Edward is constantly seeming so serious. I mean yeah occasionally, very rarely jokes around but, he's so uptight. Jacob knows how to turn a bad situation into something that can feel improved.
4. Jacob takes risks. He's rough and not afraid to be rough. I like that in a guy. He could easily take Bella into a room and have his way with her...doggy-style. :D

i loved the series...but if i had to choose i'd say neither

for me it's Jacob...because i love the werewolf shape-shifting thing. i think it's really fascinating.

Girls should learn from this novel that both are weird and they should, I think stay away from them.

well it depends when it comes to the movies Jacob for sure but when it come to the books Edward hands down :o)

Jacob. Why you may ask? Well I say Jacob because for one, he's adorable, I mean come onnnnn.. Haha. At first I loved Edward he was awesome then when I finished reading and watched the movies I saw the side of Jacob that I didn't happen to see when I read the books and that is his passion for Bella. You notice how much he really loves her when you watch the movie, you see the pain in his eyes and I would honestly rather be with someone who would actually be in pain if I were to leave him. Yes, I know that Edward is the same way but on the other hand, as a human you would always be in some kind of danger when with him. I'd rather be more safe. So Jacob Would be my choice.

it's always been clear from the start who Bella was gonna pick. She loved Jacob dearly but as a friend, she would never feel about Jacob the way she felt about Edward. I for one prefer Jacob's character over Edward's but I would never have wanted Bella to 'pick' Jacob as it would have been very unfair on him as she could never love him the way he wanted.
