War of the Oaks by Emma BullDarkfever by Karen Marie Moning
This is for me and my other writing name, Pamela K. Kinney.
Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning looks good.My second choice is a tie between War for the Oaks by Emma Bull and Widdershins by Charled de Lint.
Kami, let me know which one you want to go with (War or Windershins) and I'll post the second part of your vote.
I vote for Nightlife (although I already read it, it's terrific) and Dancing With Werewolves. Looking forward to joining in the fun!
War for the Oaks by Emma Bull - I have read it and I like it very much. I go back to it from time to time. Now if the book came with CD with the songs mentioned in the book... or at least screenplayDancing With Werewolves by Carole Nelson Douglas - the synopsis looks nice. I am bit weary for the time being of all 'mysterious past' / 'mysterious power' urban fantasy stories (although not listed "Mercy" series by Patricia Briggs reads nice, even though it has some of 'unknown power').
P.S. So many "Dancing With Werevolves", or similar, titles
Wow... so excited about November's book selections. I have read both Moning's and Palmer's books/series so I will be voting for those that I haven't read...1. Touch of Evil
2. Dancing With Werewolves
Actually, all of them sound interesting so I wouldn't mind too much if these weren't chosen... There is always next month ;) I look forward to hearing about the final results.
