Also, a sincere thank you to everyone who has already snagged a copy of IO. I, Omega was Loose Id's top seller the week it released and the second top seller this past week too, which is pretty freaking amazing. Made me giddyful anyway. LOL! I hope everybody has loved Gabriel and Cal's story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Woot!

Anyhoo...Another newsy bit. I'm over at gee/k/ink today blogging about Shifters and the Subtext of Sex if anybody wants to check it out. We ended up with "Hidden Wolves" for the series title - thanks to all of you who brainstormed that for me.Where's Jo to squee about the release of Barging In ? (Speaking of really big news.)

What amazes me about comments like that is that people that make them think they're helping you. Like, giving you a much-needed self-confidence boost. When exactly the opposite is true. They're actually tearing down and belittling something you worked very hard for, and really put yourself out there to accomplish
Anne, you hit the nail on the head with that whole statement. That's why I can't wait to get that pic up on my website later... once I'm not at work, that is! lol. That'll be a great way to get a point across to people whom I might give my biz card to... which might be family members.

That's true too. It is romance in general. Well, when I was younger I kind of had that view of things, but it didn't last too long. I mean, look how many people read it to relax and enjoy themselves? To me, that's the whole point of reading to begin with. But to so many others, they don't think it should be done to relax and have fun, but to be constantly learning. ugh. lol.
Kari you made a comment about how writing erotica would cost you your Job thats such BS because the same people who would be up in arms about it are also the ones who hide porn in there truck or under a mattress.

The book is Hidden although I'm not far enough into it yet to decide if it's YA-appropriate or not. So far the tone is a little more adult lit.
Thanks Kaje! I'll check it out and see what I think. A lot of our kids do like more adult type stuff anyway, so it might work out.
Sweet. Either way, it looks like something I'd read, regardless of whether or not I put it in the teen collection at the library.
