I'm doing this author a bit different because she writes so many books, I went ahead and decided to group her books and series by genre. *edit* Actually scratch my plan. She has so many realistic books that I'm going to hold off on adding any unless someone has a burning need to talk about one specific series.

~*~Princess Nya Vasiliev~*~ (abbaschild7748) I read Abandon. It was awesome. I can't wait til the next one comes out

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments You'll have to let me know what you didn't like about it because most of the people on my friends list who have read Abandon have given it 4 stars, with a few 3 star reviews. There was only one other negative besides yours, and that was a person who gave it 1 star and didn't write a review.

I've only read one Cabot book and it was an adult one, which I liked fine.

brittany (cirilla) It is so freaking slow. It apparently gets good at the very end but I wasn't sitting through the rest of it it was freaking boring.

I've read a lot of her books.

Rach (pagesofpiper) (piperbunny) I saw Abandon at my library this week and it looked quite good. I have one didn't finish which is you Brittany, one 4 star, one 3 star and six TBR.

I might add it to my TBR list as a maybe.

Elena (bookaholic1021) Thanks! I don't know why you hated Abandon Brittany. I thought it was amazing. Why???

message 10: by brittany (new)

brittany (cirilla) Because it was boring and slow, IMO. I'm a super picky reader.

Elena (bookaholic1021) Oh, well that too bad. Another good book to read is The Everafter by Amy Huntley. Super good! I promise, it is not boring, but a little confusing at the begining. But if you don't like books that kinda make you cry, don't read it. (But you should anyway)

N.B. Dixon I loved the Mediator series. Suse is a great heroine, although I would have preferred not to read about her clothing and shoe preferences. This is a minor complaint though. I fell in love with Jesse. He actually came close to threatening Jace from Mortal Instruments, though Jace still wins. I was really disappointed with Abandon. I was very bored and I felt the story kept wandering off topic. I didn't finish the book.

Oh yay someone who agrees with me!

Elena (bookaholic1021) I've read the Mediator series, bt it was along time ago. I faintly remember not liking the details about clothing too, but over all it is a good series. I stoped reading after the third book I think. I forget

N.B. Dixon It's worth reading to the end. The final book in particular is very powerful. What I really loved about this series was the interaction between Suse and Jesse and how the romance spread over the six books.
