I have no idea how to get people to review my book. =D

If you think you might enjoy a heart-breaking, adventurous blend of "The X-Men" and a traditional fantasy novel, you might enjoy The Northronde Princess.

If you are willing to review it, I will hook you up with a free copy, of course.

J.D. Hallowell | 247 comments I'm always happy to provide review copies of my fantasy novels:

Dragon Fate (War of the Blades, #1) by J.D. Hallowell

Dragon Fate, the first book in J.D. Hallowell's War of the Blades series, is a heroic fantasy adventure in the classic tradition of the genre. Delno Okonan is a young former soldier eager to put the swords and strife of war behind him, when a chance encounter leaves him inextricably entwined in a tangled web of dragons, magic, and intrigue, as he struggles to find his place among dragons and men, and stave off a plot by renegade dragon riders that threatens all he now holds dear.

Dragon Blade (War of the Blades, #2) by J.D. Hallowell
Swords forged by dragon magic. Ancient rivalries flaring into all-out war. Dragon Riders caught up in a clash of hidden powers. A world hangs in the balance.

Dragon Blade, the final book in J.D. Hallowell’s War of the Blades, is the epic sequel to the story begun in Dragon Fate. Delno Okonan, his draconic bond-mate, Geneva, and their allies among the Dragons and Riders are once again caught up in events controlled by unseen forces. They must uncover the real secrets behind Corolan’s death and the Rorack insurgency to defeat a threat that could destroy them all and leave the world they know forever altered.

BOOK TRAILER: https://vimeo.com/56146099#

Hi, I'm Patrice Williams Marks. I've written a short story (The Unfinished) which will be released as a full novel April 2013.

Looking for reviews of the short story.

It's a film noir/futuristic tale of where the dead are brought back to life to testify against their killers.

The book is 17-22 pages (depending on version downloaded).

Looking forward to connecting with other authors/readers on this thread.

Sam Hammack | 6 comments Hi everyone, my new fantasy novel, The Witches of Jericho - Book One in the Edenwitch Series, is in desperate need of reviews. I just released it on Jan. 7th. It is my first published novel.

In short, it is the story of the old ways of witchcraft competing with the new ways of invention in a land where the devil tempts Eve with the fruit of power and knowledge. It will be a four-part series.

The Witches of Jericho is priced at $2.99, but it is also included in the amazon lending library for prime members, and I plan on making it available for free for two days this Sat and Sun (Jan. 12th & 13th).

I am new to this self-promotion and marketing "thing", it all seems a little strange to me. But I would be willing to give reviews to anyone who needs them. Just let me know...

Thanks,
Sam

P.S. - Does anyone know how to get my book listed on Goodreads? Everytime I search for it, the results come up empty.

Hello Sam -

Just about anyone can add their book to Goodreads. But, just in case you're unfamiliar with the process, I added it for you. You can find it here: The Witches of Jericho.

Not bad for using only my iPad. :)

Look through the listing and see if there's anything you'd like to change/add.

Big J

Hmmm, I gotta link it to you, Sam. Un momento, por favor.

It says it'll take it a little while to integrate properly into the system. Give it a little bit.

Harrison Davies (harrisondavies) | 28 comments Hello all,

Great group going here. Nice to meet you all.

I wonder if anyone is interested in reviewing Destiny of the Wulf, a fantasy fiction of 117,000 words.

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...

The blurb.

DESTINY HAS CHOSEN THEM, DEATH WILL MAKE THEM PAY.

Death desires to rule as king of the gods, and is poised to ignite a war in the heavens that would consume all life on the distant world of Er'ath.

Brothers Coinin and Marrok are thrust into a world of magic and summoned to a secret temple, where an ancient mage brotherhood tells of a great destiny that has surrounded them since before they were born.

Now the fate of this world hangs in the balance, and it is left to Coinin and Marrok to seek the Swords of Cerathil and save their home from destruction.

Treachery and deceit haunt them, and their very relationship is put to the test, as the ultimate battle for survival begins...

Sam - no problems. Didn't even have my bluetooth keyboard hooked up, either. :)

Ok, go into your profile and make sure you specify that you are an author. I think that's why I can't link your Goodreads profile with your book. Check your profile and see if you can see what I'm referring to.

Victoria Valentine (victoriavalentine) | 8 comments Hi

I'm releasing a new "spicy young romance" on Valentine's Day and would love to have reviews (and any typos pointed out :-)

Head Over Wheels bridges the gap between YA and contemporary romance. It's pretty sexy - so readers should not be under 17. The book is 386 pages: 116K words. I'll have paperbacks, Kindle and Nook versions in about 2 weeks.

My site: http://www.januaryvalentine.com

A.K. (akbutler) | 43 comments Oooo reviews are awesome. I have a free book to exchange for an opinion. :)

My novel is a dystopian written for 15+. Here is the synopsis:

-----

It's 2159. Zay Scot is a fourteen-year-old boy raised on a secret island in hiding from a government he doesn't know exists. After more than a decade of avoiding detection, his fugitive parents are brutally kidnapped and he is thrust into a dizzying world centuries more advanced than the one he left behind.

The skies over the United North American Alliance are pollution free. Meals are healthy and delivered to each home. Crime is nonexistent. Medical treatment requires only the scan of your wrist. Poverty, need, and hunger are things studied in history class.

But Zay soon finds himself a fugitive, escaping the brute force of a government always a whisper away. Now he must choose between peace and freedom, and if the journey doesn't kill him, what he finds might start a war.

-----

I can gift it in ePub, Mobi, and PDF. 85,000 words. :)
