I have to admit, since I'm not sure when baby will be here I started to read this a few days ago and am now on Chapter 20. I feel like this book is even better than the first if that is even possible. So exciting!! I'm so curious to see what will happen. Is the world they are in now even real? WICKED is exactly that... wicked. They play on emotions only to get scientific results. It's so cruel. I love that each of them have been given a title. Is that really what they think will happen, or is it to enable that result?? I can't wait to finish this one!! :)

Thrilling! can these kids get a break for longer than 24hours??? I hate what's happening to Thomas & Teresa? And what the hell is this place?
Chapter 34 complete...Exactly!!! I don't trust this chick Brenda at all... I wonder where the others are and I love that Thomas still thinks of them and teresa throughout this whole mess.
Book finished!! I finished this morning and holy crap, I LOVED this book. Freaking Teresa and now Brenda. What is really both of their roles and Aris... they were all part of it from the start I think. I know they mention Rachel, but what if Brenda really is Rachel? I dont know. So confused! WICKED is good?? How do you end the book like that?! Poor Thomas... I can't wait for the next book. They are just getting better and better.

WHOA! I love that the book really pulls you in & makes you feel like you are experiencing what Thomas is going through. I have know idea who to trust. It's bad that their is some crazy agency out there that is putting you through all this abuse but to not be able to trust the people that you are fighting along side is even worse. The ending was so intense! It left you wanting more.
Oct. 11! the final book I can't wait to see how it all ends.

finished the book this morning. so...ended up taking a later shuttle. lolOkay, I liked the book. Didn't breeze through it as quickly. There were times when it made me mad - I didn't want to read on. However, eventually got over it, then couldn't put it down.
I think Brenda in the girl that he couldn't see in one of his memories. Maybe she is Rachel, but I find it peculiar that Aris didn't seem to recognize her. I wish I could start book 3 right now. Guess it's best that it doesn't come out for a month.
Abby and Sam, you are both right. Why can't these kids get a break?! My heart hurts for them. Just when things seem to slow down, a wrench is thrown in. I definitely felt Thomas's pain, betrayal, and eventual need to no longer care. There is a great Buddhist (paraphrased) saying about pain coming from wanting what we don't have. Hopefully Thomas's emotional pain will become less now that he no longer has expectations.

Just when I was about to get bored with the book, the action started kicking in. It's been non-stop ever since.
Some moments I've predicted but I did not expect the "Thomas you are the real leader" signs. CRAZY!! WICKED has planned everything. Totally insane.
I don't have any opinion of Brenda just yet which makes me think she's more important than Dashner is letting on.
Thomas just reunited with the other Gladers only to get shot in the arm.
Dying to know how this book ends...

It's taking me forever to finish this book. It's already overdue at the library. I blame the TV and homework. Too many cool new shows to check out and too much Italian homework to complete. LOL
They just got to the Safe Haven and it's a stick. You know something crazy is about to go down.
I have 40 pages left. Doubt I'll finish today though...Thursday is my couch potato day. :)
