Yes, I'm sure that you're right. Let's hope it helps ours! ;D

Don't we have a purple chair with a bird on it?
Is there also a bib to be had? Because this other challenge around the US is also enticing.....I had a homer Simpson donut moment when I read barry's message this weekend.

Yes, go ahead and give her the couch...but if she wants it with birds then it will cost a little extra.
No bargaining. But, we're charging Marieke the full price. She can put a bird on her couch. We don't normally do that for customers anyway. That would be extra.
It should be mentioned that if she alters the couch in any way then it is not returnable. I will write that on the receipt. Bib is free of course since she's such a lovely customer.
(Mikki, I think Asmah wanted the purple couch - I don't know what she meant about the orange satin.)
1. The 52 states thing sounds interesting, but you'd have to go by setting since people move around so fluidly. I might consider it for 2013.2. The thing about the purple chair, from someone who has read that book, is that it sounds lovely until you read her description. I'll save the discovery of that moment for the readers. Ha!

Jenny, I thought the same thing about the 52 states and figured that it had to be setting. It will be somewhat difficult to gather books on US settings as they are usually not part of the central story. But, who knows.
And two, I'm going back to read your review. I seem to remember that it read as being mixed...

Well you don't have to worry about Maine or Massachusetts.......Stephen King and Robert Parker. Though I know there are many more books and authors with these settings, these 2 are very reliable.
Hi guys, thanks for the shout out about the group. Don't feel like you have to base the state on setting. I'm reading based on the history or historical event in the state, most everyone else is reading based on setting, but there it's your reading list with your "rules" -- just have fun, that's my goal! :)Sports fan? Books about a team from each state.
Foodie? Books on regional specialties.
Where the author was born.
Where they wrote the book (that's probably hardest to figure out).
