Catch-22, as far as I can tell, is about a Captain named Yossarian. In the beginning of the book Yossarian is in a hospital faking an illness, and because he is an officer he is required to censor letters. Yossarian found this to be monotonous and made games of doing it, like censoring all the words except for "a", or "an". Eventually a Texan gets put in the hospital and drives all the patients in the ward insane and most of them left. Yossarian was forced to go back into combat, so the next setting is of his little encampment where he is stationed. Yossarian continuously quarrels with a man named Clevinger, who fights for what he believes strongly in, Clevinger insists that Yossarian is crazy due to the fact that Yossarian is constantly saying that people who don't like him, hate him, and that those who hate him are conspiring to kill him. Also that Yossarian also believes that everyone ELSE is crazy. The primary conflict is that the people in this book are currently at war. Currently I have noticed quite a few grammatical errors, but it is an interesting book none-the-less, and I do intend to read further into the book.
