I'm not seeing zombie apocalypse when I look at this book cover for A Zombie Apocalypse 2 : Spreading the Disease 
Oh...okay. I guess it wasn't what I was starting to think was going to happen...
Summary line : After reuniting with her niece and turning her into one of the infected, the two make their way along the highway stalking human prey.
RUN!!! They're coming to disease you!
Wow...uh yeah that reminds me of a Friends episode when Joey was so excited because he modeled for a poster...and it turned out it was for a VD warning campaign. Yeah...that description...

I was thinking the same thing Cassi and originally had posted a comment about STD's, but thought maybe someone would think I'd lost it, so I went back and edited.Apparently, I haven't if you all were thinking the same thing...either that, or we've all lost it.

Its name was STD'S ARE BOP. (Bind on pick-up, for you non gamer people.)
I remember that one. I used to love all of the weird guild names, like ghouls gone wild, etc.My favorite was R.I.P. Bill Cosby because it never failed...someone would always end up saying in general chat, "Bill Cosby died?"

We may have all lost it. But I think that picture and that description invited the joke.

This is a beautiful cover.
I had to enlarge that one to look at it more closely. It is a beautiful cover, but almost creepy at the same time because it looks like the wings are growing out of her back.
Picked this book up today and it also has a steampunk vibe to the design, but I'm thrown by the futuristic Egypt summary/description.
The wing picture weirds me out too because they're such tiny weird little nubby wings.
And the attachment point looks painful -- like it just happened.Spreading the disease -- why would they be carrying their shoes if their zombies? LOL they are spreading a disease!
Athlete's foot?Maybe even zombies get sore feet. High heels can be a bitch.

It's probably silly, but I've always had a little bit of a fascination with the Atticus cover model, especially on the cover of book 2 (Hexed). I had to stop for a second to go look and see if it's the same guy. After looking at them side by side, I can't tell.
The books are just as well received by men and women and aren't girly at all, so I think it's kind of funny/cute that we're talking about how sexy he is!"
I have a strong dislike for this series but I love the covers. I think the covers are very well planned out - -but I agree, the goatee is weird on #4. I think they appeal to both men and women, because what we like about Atticus on those covers is his power and strength and that appeals to men too. Men want to be him or know him.

I have no real comment about the cover design, but I WISH I had penned a book titled Land of Corn Chips. That has to be one of the best book titles ever.
I find it hilarious that the book title is something like that and there is a dragon on the cover!
Yes, I find myself wanting to read it just to find out the connection between the Corn Chips and the dragon!

I think it's the same stock photo...It also reminds me a bit of the Finnikin of the Rock cover. Different guy, same feel.

Book number 15 on the list makes me laugh because he's doing duckface!
The Finnikin cover always makes me think of Ben Barnes if he had blue eyes.
There are a lot of stock models who seem to be used for books. I have a thing for the guy who's on this list :

This summary blurb make me do a double take.

My first reaction is: AHHHH attack of the fonts! Then things only get weirder as I read the description. Where do you find these things?
I have a few bookmarked sites that I check daily for freebies. This one popped up on the list today. I'm unsure if the book is supposed to be an educational book about racism, or if it's a weird take on Pinocchio, where the cow just wants to be a real girl.
Part of me is tempted to download it just to see wtf is going on.

Is it just me, or does this cover scream Lolita? I'm not sure what to think of it, but I think it disturbs me on a certain level.
This last part of the summary made me grab the free Kindle download out of strange curiousity...
So Levi starts playing his game - and the consequences will alter her just as much as they will him.
Parental advisory recommended - strong language and sex references.
I'm not sure whether I should be intrigued or frightened. I'm leaning toward nervous.
*edit* Uh...GR you don't have this shelved as a YA book but I found this under "children's freebies." Now, I'm even more unsure what's going on here.

I like this one but I am partial to steampunk covers.
At least in steampunk covers the pretty dresses serve a purpose!Much preferred for me too. The font is really nice along with the colors.

I agree about the colors and font. Everything works. What do we think of this cover? I think something about the way everyone's standing is a bit stiff, but it does convey that the shit is probably going to be hitting the fan.
Also, if crisis was about to go down, I could think of worse places to be stranded than a Wal-Mart. At least you can get everything from food, to camping gear, to weapons there.
That covers says to me "Look another dystopian novel" which makes me feel a little meh because it lacks WOW factor. Also is reminds me a bit much of the movie twister and I'm wondering if a tornado is relevant AND why the heck they're all just staring at it.
