I like the lack of pressure. Nobody's shouted at me for posting a link in my signature, nobody's getting on my case for endlessly changing the subject. People are genuinely welcoming, some people even seem to be interested in my book. It's so nice to be treated like a human being.Cheers

Warning: contais car chases, futuristic technology and sarcasm.
We are all here to help promote, help network, get to know each other, share ideas, share tips, and have a good time. This was supposed to be a fun group, no competition...no huffiness...just fun, books, help, and friendship!!
MTM-This is a great book and we love when you change the topic, we all do it frequently. LOL.
So glad you found a place you like!! We like you too!
I could tell you a story about a flat in London and a rat... Probably best not to ask me about that one either.Cheers

Blimey, now part of me is bricking it because I haven't a clue how I would go about setting up a 'second life' and absolutely zero spare time in which to do so. Meanwhile the other half of me is all excited about how I could make a virtual Parrot and Screwdriver... and a real snurd. Phnark.Cheers

Coo yeh and if I managed to make the snurd... mwah ha ha haargh. Although it would be my third life, of course, my second life is in K'Barth!Cheers

Hey! Where did this thread come from?!? I was looking for the Journal Jabber link and stumbled across this... I clicked thinking "Cool, how to market for free... I might get some good ideas" ;pThanks guys! By all means, talk about me anytime! You made my night xox
They have been actually... ringing anyways. To top it off I just accidentally ran across a fab review on Gathering Leaves completely by random. Is it Christmas? I'm loving it and this amazing group xox!
Well, when we come across something to help our members, we jump on it!! This is really becoming more of a community than just a group, and I think us helping out our fellow 'citizens' is what a good community does!

I like the spirit of cooperation around here. If the pen is mightier than the sword than together we have an army ;D
Where's my gold star?? Oh wait, I get a gold pen right?LOL.
Does this mean I can make peeps do things or else??
Cambria wrote: "yup...now to select a sheriff.....a werewolf perhaps. Law and order at its best."You know, I just had this dream this morning (yeah, yeah - I dream a lot) where I was a part of this group of people who were out to try to save the world from evil or something - anyway, as part of our training, we were bonded to some kind of beast so that we could take on aspects of it ... yeah, we basically became were-somethings ... You should've seen the hot guy I was with ... :-) Of course, you can see my hot husband on my Facebook page under the photos - I have several on there. Or just follow the link to my husband ... LOL Anyway ... it was a really interesting dream ...
Cambria wrote: "Sounds like my kind of dream!"The guy was Irish - VERY Irish, all pale and freckled and bright red, curly hair ... at one point in the dream I was lathering sunscreen all over him ... Hehehe. That was after he quit sprouting hair over a problem he was having with some other guys ... Wish I knew what kind of beasts we were bonded to, but I had never seen their like before - I just know they were REALLY nasty, mean things ... useful having those attributes ...
Cambria wrote: "I like the beasts mean. Not to me of course. Just to those I want them to be mean to of course. LOL"Well, yeah - thus the bonding to ... taking on the aspect of the beast ... rawr ...

Amy wrote: "I see us all in black scuba gear and purple trash bag capes....."Purple trash bags?? Where on earth does one get purple trash bags? The ones we buy are always either black or white ...
I always played super hero when I was a kid - drove my (female) friends nuts, I think. My mom always packed lunches for me and I'd take the little baggies and punch holes in them and use them as "finger capes" ... hehe.
