Now reading:
When the lion feeds by Wilbur Smith
Next on list:
गृहदाह - शरतचन्द्र चट्टोपाध्याय
If on a winter's night - starting was good, but I could not sustain it. Have plans to start it again...

I hope you will like it. There was a readalong and also a group read; if you are interested you can look for the discussion!

Smitha it had all that i ask of a cozy mystery a clean mystery, a sweet romance, good writing and a happy ending.

By reading all the comments above I guess Shutter Island has to be on my to read list... till now I was just little apprehensive about the book.
I'm currently on a challenge (reading Gone with the Wind )
The Book Thief was one of the amazing books I've ever read... trust this is the only book by this other which I liked others are just wanna be types (my personal opinion)
Midnight's Children was Indeed an ingenious book, but whats the point of writing such a book when you lose your reader in the middle of the journey... I liked it but it was tad too much to digest

Have never read Virginia Woolf, HAVE to.
Maupassant, along with O Henry is one of my favorite story tellers.

I think Virginia Woolf is to try at least once because of her writing style and language but I'm having a hard time with this book (in the past I have left two other books by her after a few pages). It is hard to get into her language though this book is full of interesting quotes and it is very thoughtful. There are very long sentences and often I have to re-read them to understand what is going on.

But worth it. I loved No. 1 Ladies. It plays more on character mindset rather than actual mystery.

Also reading किशोर चौधरी की चौराहें पर सीडियाँ। पहली कहानी पढ़ी 'अंजलि तुम्हारी डायरी से बयान मेल नहीं खाते ' ,काफी सवेंदनशील थी।

Looking for a great mystery/ crime fiction to read.. Any suggestions?

@Light, Shantaram, I couldn't complete.
@Srividya, have read and enjoyed both .And am following your progress in the other group:D

Started reading biography of Jonathan Ive.

Shantaram was a great read. As far as I know there is no part 2.
