Could this one be deleted? http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/38...It is volume 29 of Rurouni Kenshin - but this manga series only has 28 volumes. There's no isbn, neither wikipedia or VIZ has any evidence of a 29th volume. The series finished over 10 years ago.
It has been given 20 ratings though, not sure where these should go to... combine with volume 28 before deleting?
ElizabethWe do not delete books that have been published and rated. People like to have the books they have read on their shelves. This is a book / reading cataloging site rather than book seller etc.
As and when they are republished, new editions will be created and combined with the others.
re 669 - You could message the person who added it asking their intention giving them the info you have provided above. That's what I do if I am unsure why some one added a book

Well I got a very fast reply, they were even online now. Niki doesn't recall why she added this book (it was in 2008) and doesn't even have it shelved, so for her it can go.
Still there are over 20 others who do have it shelved (some as 'to read', some added a rating). What's the rule of thumb for such situations? Combine it with the first volume (as some sort of placeholder for the entire series) or with the closest match (vol 28)?

I'm sure it is the same book, but not sure what should be done about it.
Could someone please look into the issue.
I've merged them (and deleted the duplicate). One had a 978 - 13 digit ISBN put in the 10 digit box.

I think merging it with vol 28 is the best plan in this case. Unless there are objections I will get it later today.
ETA: Vol 29 has been merged with Vol 28.

Can the book and ratings be combined under the pseudonym, Sinara Ellis, as the author wishes?
