Hi, read a book this weekend, but lost the piece of paper I wrote the author and name on, and have no recollection of either at all. Woman, 38ish, widow, reconnects with old high school friends, and before you know it is back in her home town, renovating a big house, and meeting up again with her high school sweetie, who is married to a beautiful cosmetic saleswoman who really doesn't want kids.

Yes, it is "Bitter Sweet" by LaVyrle Spencer. I loved that book. She reneovates the house to turn it into a B&B. She has a teenage daughter who just goes off to college.
