Kate (katiebobus) | 202 comments In this book for younger readers, the main character (not sure if boy or girl) has to take home a note from the teacher saying that he or she is obstreperous. The kid consults a friend whose family has a baby and says that the word means that the teacher thinks the kid will grow up to deliver babies. I thought it was a Judy Blume or a Betsy Byars but I'm not turning anything up with my Google searches.
