Veronica got up and put on one of her favorite records.

she listened to it "what is this?"

"It's music!"

"thats it?" she asked confused, it didn't sound like much of a purpose

she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion

She sat down and listened.

jinx sighed and relaxed on her bed, actually listening to the music

"Do you like it?"

"I think so" she said

she hummed along with the music, she wondered why she did it but she liked it so she continued

Veronica grabbed her purse and snuck them out.

She led her to the music store. "Here we are! Go on in and pick out what you like."

she walked around looking, but not knowing what to look for

Veronica walked over to Jinx. "Look at that weirdo over there. It's nearly dark and he's wearing sunglasses. Isn't that weird?"

jinx looked at him then back veronica, she knew he wasn't a weirdo. he had their look, she had seen the tattoo by his ear. it was three tiny dots almost impossible to see if you weren't looking for them. jinx grabbed veronica's arm. "be prepared"

[Zachman]

"What are you talking about? For what?"

[Fiamata]

"this" she said quickly turning to face the man and taking a knife out of her pocket and throwing it fast at him, stricking him in the neck. then she ran out of the store, draging veronica with her

[Zachman]

"What did you just do! Yo-you-you just killed him!"

[Fiamata]

"better him than you" she said and continued running into the crowds of people

[Zachman]

"What are you talking about! You just randomly killed a man!"

[Fiamata]

"Just run!" she yelled her eyes glowing blue.

Veronica did as she was told, trying to ignore the screams of the people back in the store.

Charles woke up and went to check on Jinx. She wasn't there, and neither was Veronica. He wondered where they went.

Jinx quickly turned right as she heard gunshots and people started to clear the streets. she saw a dumpster in an ally and ran to it. she opened it "get in!"

[Zachman]

Veronica did as she was told.

Charles decided to go look for them.

[Fiamata]

"don't make any noise, and don't come out for anyone, not even if i tell you too." she instructed. "when I knock three times and once on the lid, then come out alright?"

Veronica nodded.

Charles walekd the streets, trying to think of where they would be. 'The streets are quite empty today' he thought.

[Fiamata]

she then ran back out of the ally and took out the rechtor cannon and began powering it up

[Zachman]

Charles looked around. The streets were practically deserted. 'Something's wrong' he thought. He saw Jinx running from an alleyway with the rechtor cannon out. 'Yep, something is definetely wrong.' He tried to cath up with her yelling, "Wait up!"

jinx glared at charles "Duck!" she yelled before firing the rechtor cannon at him

Charles hit the ground hard, knocking the breath out of himself. "What the h*** was that?!"

the explosion behind him was small. she ran over and grabbed his colar and hauled him up from the ground and pulled him with her as she began running

"Just run!" she screamed

Charles tried to keep up with her.

she lead him through a series of allys and entered an abandoned building and into the basement and locked the door
