jinx woke up the next day

Charles walked in the room with their breakfast. "Your up early."

she looked at him, still half asleep

[Zachman]

"You hungry?"

[Fiamata]

she nodded

Charles handed her the second plate.

she took it and began to eat

Charles sat on the bed next to her.

she looked at him out of the corner of her eye

Charles got up after he was finihed and went to take a shower.

she watched him walk into the bathroom then curled up on the bed again, quickly falling asleep

While he was in the shower, Charles' sister came into his room, determined to find what he was hiding. And boy did she find it. She couldn't believe that a girl was in his bed!

jinx was still in a deep sleep, faintly glowing blue, it was hard to notice in the dawn light

[Zachman]

His sister couldn't believe her eyes! Was this what he had been trying to hide? What was this girl doing here. Charles stepped out of the bathroom and quickly turned back around. His sister was too fast though. She grabbed him back the neck and started yelling at him.

jinx woke up immediately and saw charles being attacked! she sprang off the bed tackling the girl and pinning her to the ground

[Zachman]

"Jinx get off of her!"

[Fiamata]

jinx got off her, confused by his tone

[Zachman]

"What is with your girlfriend" his sister screamed.
"She's not my girlfriend" Charles yelled back. He sighed and started to explain everything.

[Fiamata]

jinx just sat on the bed, scowling at the world

[Zachman]

"So do you understand" Charles asked his sister.
"Yeah, I think I et it. But I don't like it. Your name is Jinx?"

[Fiamata]

jinx looked at her but didn't say anything

[Zachman]

"I'm Veronica" his sister said.

[Fiamata]

she looked from veronica to charles and back to veronica. her expression softened a little, thinking she understood

"how about you come and stay in my room Jinx. I think Charles could use his bed back."

[Fiamata]

she bit the inside of her cheek. she was hesitant to trust this person

[Zachman]

"So? What do you say" Veronica asked.

[Fiamata]

she nodded very slowly

[Zachman]

Charles sighed, knowing now he only hide to hide Jinx from his parents.
"Alright, you can bring your stuff after school."

[Fiamata]

"what stuff?" she asked

[Zachman]

"You don't have any belongings?"

[Fiamata]

she shook her head

[Zachman]

"Oh."
"Well, we gotta get going" Charles said.

[Fiamata]

"we do?" she asked

[Zachman]

"Yes. School remember?"

[Fiamata]

she groaned and looked at veronica pleadingly "can i stay with you"

[Zachman]

She shook her head and said, "School is important. You have to go."

[Fiamata]

she frowned and laid back down on the bed

[Zachman]

"Come on get up," Charles said, "I don't want to be late."

[Fiamata]

she sighed and got up

[Zachman]

Charles just walked out of the house, since he knew his parents weren't up.
