Gary Sundell | 89 comments Just finished Hallowe'en Party (Hercule Poirot, #36) by Agatha Christie Hallowe'en Party. A Poirot I had not previously read. I watched enough of the adaptation to turn it off, too many deviations from the story.
As for the book, had me guessing until the end.

I wish that would have been our October book Gary. The Christmas Poirot book was one month off I think too.

message 207: by Gary (new)

Gary Sundell | 89 comments I started Poirot's Christmas last year. I find books where our MC doesn't show up until a third or halfway through a bit of a chore to read sometimes. I read Poirot books to see the funny looking man
and his little grey cells get the best of the murderer or thief.

I don't know if this is a cheat or not, but I'm listening to Death on the Nile.... full book NOT audio dramatization! https://youtu.be/OwwADqhCeR8 I'll have to wait til February to go on a big book spree.

Another Agatha Christie story is Black Chocolate. https://youtu.be/4bo-gy2kmos

I have listened to a few Agatha Christies' on audiobook, think they work really well. I like the BBC dramatised versions that have been done for radio.
