I've not seen that one Sharla. The one I watched was filmed in either the 1960s or early 1970s. I thought that one was pretty good too although not at all funny.

This is one of the links to the book that names some of the characters Martha Murder Is Easy. Is it possible for you to post your book link and we can compare? I usually type the name of the book and look for a matching cover if I see if or you should be able to type in the ISBN #, if it has one. Very strange!

I don't know Martha, maybe it's a misprint. If it is, then it might be worth something. I can't remember which book, but there was some kind of misprint in the cover(?), and it ended up being worth more than the correct printing. Check Wikipedia. I know it's info from anyone who wants to contribute but there's probably a bibliophile that's added something about it.

Ooh! I haven't read that one yet! How was it?

I enjoy reading any A.C. book, so I liked it, but it was kinda boring. You're probably going to like it if you like Miss Marple, but I prefer the Poirot kind of story [with more thinking than action], so I'm probably not the perfect person to ask this, sorry...

I've still not read that Amrutha.

The problem with Christie is once you read a lot of her, you are able to solve the mysteries in the beginning of the novel. I long for the days in which there was a twist in which I found myself happily surprised. Oh well, those days seem to be gone.
It was really good, I like the whole idea of it being a game, Miss Marple is racing against the clock to discover a murderer. I figured out the killer the first time we met them. And where the dead body was hiding. It was very much a gothic mystery, reminiscent of Poe's The Cask of Amontillado, The Black Cat, and A Rose for Emily by Faulkner.

Mind-blowing suspense. It t'were me, I'd keep that book for last. Curtain fall.. :')

Have you tried ABC Murders? Almost impossible to guess that right!

How was it?

I too guessed the murderer in Nemesis. It resembles another Christie book, the one with the folly.

I liked that they were short stories. Some were better than others.
I'm surprised that murderers just sit there and let a detective or an older woman tell on them. I'd get up and say, "I don't want to hear this." But maybe that's just me :)

Thought I've read all Tommy & Tuppence series, but somehow I've missed this one.

I really enjoyed it but if I had to give it a negative comment I would just say it started off a little slow for me.
