I also agree that this book is much better than Twilight.

I agree with Stacia, the first 100 pages were a bit boring but I fell in love with the book after!

And I didn't know about the film either ;d
But in Stephenie Meyer's profile in Goodreads are added the next books, but you're right that don;t mean for sure she'll write them. And maybe she's not the one, who added them.
Now I'm looking at the girl, picked to play Mel/Wanda
and you're right again, she just not look like Mel/Wanda not only in age, but appearance too.
