SOLVED. Wolf book that i dont know [s]

I cant remeber the name of the book im about to discribe.
Okay so its about a dog that is pregnant with pups that i belive are half dog and half wolf. The mother leaves her sled team to into the forest and have her pups. Once she has them a pack comes and kills most the cubs and the mother. The mother tried to fight of the pack leader and it described how she stood almost perfect so that he neck was shielded but she was killed. but one of her cubs survives and as he grows stronger he seeks revenge at 1st he has trouble surviving on his own having learned very little from his mother to hunt. But he then i think he steals a fish from a bear and start to regain strength and wants revenge on his mothers killer. I also think As he wondering he found a pack that had been beaten by the pack to killed his mother and wanted revenge even more and he killed pack leader at the end.

This sounds a lot like Snow Dog by Jim Kjelgaard to me.
