>
If you would like to introduce yourself!
Hey all, I'm Cambria. I will be moderating the group with Amy. For those of you who don't know me (If you don't, have you been living in a cave??? LOL) I am a writer, My first book MASQUERADE will be coming out sometime next year through Otherworld Publications.
It is a YA paranormal.
I also have a blog http://theunlockeddiary.blogspot.com
I can't wait to meet all of you and hang out and read great books!

I'm Natalie but most everyone calls me Nattie or just Nat. I have my own blog as well http://booksfromthepurplejellybeancha...
would love to have anyone visit :) I haven't tried my hand at writing...yet lol but you just never know. Glad to be here, thanks for the invite Amy. You gotta visit Cambria's blog it's awesome and so is she.
So which book will we be talking about first?

I will be announcing the new book shortly as well as how we will try to organize things in here! :)
I have a poll at the bottom of the page if the new members would like to participate in it! It would give me some great feedback on how to start things off with you guys!

Not sure if this is truly necessary since we all basically know each other, but anyways, I'm a short teenage bookworm, and I'm currently involved in shamelessly self-promoting my new blog, http://www.book-spark.blogspot.com, (see what I did there?) and zealously reading. Summer's almost over, which means the temper tantrums are about to start lol! One thing I'm sure of is that I'll never be able to write a book. Ever.

So true! I'm always doing this, and then I feel bad when I get up off the computer at 2am. But it has gotten me some followers in only a week's time, so I'm not too sorry.
Hello to Anagha, A.F. and Alta!! Great to see new and familiar faces around here!!! What a great start to the group already!

I have been overwhelmed by the vastness of the Blog World and the Book Blog world. It seems I spend more time catching on emails, and site following, then I do Blogging, or even reading.
I have been on Goodreads for approx one month. At first I found it quite overwhelming - and ran away to web pages I found more familiar, with the occasional looking back at Goodreads.
After getting feedback from friends, already big users of Goodreads, as well as a friend who has just joined, I am trying to be more openminded and really try at using Goodreads, before forming an opinion - which, of course, is only fair.
I am an avid reader, who starts to hyperventilate when going into a bookstore! Everyone else, please leave me to drool.....
Has a book already been agreed upon or would like to take suggestions? My suggestion would be: "The Middle Place" written by Kelly Corrigan. The Middle Place
Good idea with this club, Amy!
If this appropriate, and you want to check out my blog, please do. http://thejoyofthewrittenword.wordpre...
Thank you
Patricia

I am an avid reader/reviewer with my own blog, Gathering Leaves. I describe myself as a closet writer, because until recently, I never let ANYONE read my [creative] writing! I am beginning to work on getting 'out there', so who knows?!?!? ;-)
I "work" with Amy and Cambria through JournalStone and co-host the Blog Talk Radio show, JournalJabber, with them as well!
This is going to be so fun!

Anyone off CR has probably seen me pontificating about something or other on there!! Not sure I'm going to have time to do the actual bookclub thing at the moment but will be dropping by sporadically to catch up on the goss until I have a bit more time and can actually join in properly!!

Anagha, I'd love to check out your blog, but it isn't linking.

So sorry for the inconvenience, Elise. I had accidentally put a comma instead of a backslash at the end. Here it is: http://www.book-spark.blogspot.com/
Thank you for taking the time to look at it!

Anyway, It is great to have you here..."
Thank you, Cambria! I appreciate your compliment.
WordPress blogs do not have Follow buttons as in Google Friend Connect. The choices are: to follow by clicking to subscribe to receiving an email, when a new post goes up, or to follow through RSS Feed.
